Both my congressman and SR must have done the trick. An officer from Cleveland called me and told me they would request it from NBC last month.

When did you contact the congressman, long long before they got back to you and how long after did you get the approval ?

Good Morning all!! Well, here we are again. Sun is bright and the wind is blowing! I wish the wind would blow right through and send all of ours cases right to the fields offices and get everyone approved! Frankly, I am tired of waking every morning and the process is the first thing to cross my mind with NO answers, it is all such a mystery. I don't understand why.

Good luck to everyone, especially the "old timers".

Opps, Im so sorry I thought I saw that you got an RFE. I filed with the Ombudsman March 16th also and our Congressman last week on April 17th. The race is on to see who can fix this garbage the quickest!

I wish they would hurry up!

I wonder if the children hold things up more or if this was just another one of those "flukes" that took longer. I was looking through the timelines yesterday in between my meetings. I did see a few March 31st filers that do not have an approval. Not sure if they are still waiting or if they just have not updated their timeline. I have ours updated and it shows in the timelines, I still can't connect to our profile though, weird.

If we are gonna get an RFE, I wish they would just send it, so at least we know what we have to send and if we have to pay another 250.00 for ANOTHER medical. Don't they know we have to budget this kinda stuff, I don't just have money laying around collecting dust! Serious!

I sincerely hope not!!! I wonder about the K2 situation also. Our K2 got the NPIW letter, whereas my husband did not. I've also seen where the K2 gets his or her GC when the K1 spouse waits longer. It's a mystery for sure.

Right?? And it's not like the K1 spouse didn't have a medical already to be allowed in the country in the first place. What do they think, that they have now contracted something that makes them ineligible to live here? Uh, if so, they got whatever illness while here! And the same applies for background checks. total bs. They have extensive enough checks BEFORE coming here. IF some crime was committed while here, they'd already be in jail/deported. If we have to endure the NPIW nightmare, then make it for a legit reason. Not just a random pile thrown to the side marked "NPIW" where you leave them be until a year is up. Actually determine (like stated in the letter) that there's good cause to waive the interview. So annoying.

I contacted him about a week before the SR. I received a letter from him saying there was a delay but his staff said they would call Cleveland FO. 6 days after filing the SR I received a call saying I would get a decision within 60 days.

I'm sorry to ask annoying questions! I tried searching your past posts in case they were already answered.

So you received your NPIW letter in November 2014, what month did you submit the SR and contact the representative in your area?

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

Oh its no problem at all.

Service Request (my first and only one) on March 20, 2015. Congressman was about a couple of days maybe a week before that?

Note that Cleveland was processing August 2014 cases when that processing times website updates in mid March, so I was able to get things moving.

The Congressman wrote a letter to me saying it would take 9-12 months, but I think his staff member actually called up someone in the Cleveland office checking if my application was there. I think the combination of the SR and the Congressman's office helped a lot.

The SR was closed by the Cleveland field officer when she called me on March 26, 2015 to say they would request my file. It was a nice surprise to receive that call.

Good morning all!

So... I was relaxing watching TV last night around 8:00pm and I received a text message from a number that I didn't recognize. I opened the message and it was from USCIS with a notification that my case had been updated. On a Sunday night?....

Anyway, I logged online and this is what I see:

New Card Is Being Produced

On April 19, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I was SHOCKED!

June 25th filer here....NPIW on September 25th, and I also contacted Ombudsman on March 26th. I think it must have helped!

God Speed to all of you who are still waiting, keep thinking positive and it'll happen!

Hey guys, just wanted to thank everyone who posts on here....lots of help, thank you!!! I am an April 2014 filer and was approved on 4/9/2015. Waiver letter 7/29, hang in there....just be patient. Been wanting to post, but just so busy with work. Take care everyone and ill be back on for ROC

Finally today I saw an update on my I-485 application.

On April 21, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC1491XXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Finally after a year, I am now approved! So I am an April 2014 Filer. I filled up the Ombusdman Form last month, I am not sure if that is the reason why I am aprroved now or they are started working on our batch. Its a long wait but its worth. Just happy that I dont have to send my application for the renewal of work permit which will exprired on July 2015.

Card Was Ordered To Be Produced

On April 21, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

OMG! We FINALLY received the GREAT news just a few minutes ago!

On April 22, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number, and will mail it to the address you gave us.

I can't believe it, he is finally going to receive is greencard after a year and almost two months from our original mailing date! His EAD, AP, and DL are all going to expire on May 7th and I was really worried! I had called the Senator's office today to check with them since I had contacted them over a month and a half ago for assistance. I also had just filled out the form with the Ombudsman a few hours ago to ask for assistance with USCIS as well.

We are so relived and happy! :dancing: :joy: :dancing:

Hello !!!

After one year, I receive an appointment that we had today.... and now my girl is a resident !! we´ll receive her card on the next weeks..

They are ordering my card. This is awesome.

How long does it take to get it after they send you the we are ordering your card email?

Am I a permanent resident yet? Or is it only when I recieve it?

Congratulations to the lot of you!! Fantastic :)
