My husband is upset about filing ead/ap renewal. He said he does not want another "temporary card" he wants his greencard. He recently went to visit his country, and we came back together. Even though I was a citizen, we both went in through the "visitors" line in Miami POE. We went in a holding room, then was moved to another room. They asked for his "resident card" but when he provided his AP card, they acted like it was sin or something to have that. We waited like 45 mintues and was able to go through, but still he didn't like the way he was treated. He is also upset because his sister came as a k2, and filed after him and she already has her greencard.

Wow...I read some of your bio. Sounds like he has had a hard time with most of this process. It is embarrassing and heartbreaking to hear people being treated this way at the boarders! It is really ticking me off to be honest! I am so sorry.

My husband has also had just about enough of this whole thing!

Hello everyone. Was very busy at work yesterday, so I had to catch up today. CONGRATS to everyone approved recently! That is great news. My wife and I are still waiting, seemingly for nothing... Trying to get in touch with Tier2 agent again. Expecting nothing but who knows... Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!

Did they say if you guys will get an interview since it is in your field office? Ours is in transit to our field office. I don't know when it's gonna get there though. If the tier 2 that I talked to before was right, they transferred our case on march 26. But it is still not in our field office.

From what I understand it takes about 2 weeks for a file to be transferred. When we went for the info pass and they told us it was at our local office as of March 20th. I asked if that meant an interview, two officers told me" No that is not always the case". They said just because it is at our local office does not mean that there will be an interview. It is very hard to believe anything that you heard from USCIS employees. A Tier 2 told one of our members that thier case was at their local field office but it was actually at a different office.

I sent our congressman the letter this morning. I felt it needed to be done and not to wait to send any longer.

I don't know when our case is getting in our field office but I think it's been more than two weeks now. The io said she doesn't know when it was transferred. It's been more than a year of waiting now and it is so frustrating. You've been waiting longer than us so I can't imagine how frustrating this is for you.

Our letter is same as yours July 10th. One year since NOA1 was last Friday... Just spoke with Tier 2 more of nothing. Just trying to get us off the phone...
