Bewitching hour has passed on another day.

I'm thinking about you guys ... I really hope your approval comes soon. I'm sorry this is happening to you.

These are on the check list I got for an interview, it looks like a K1 and ROC all in one

I'm thinking about you guys too. You've been waiting such a long time - I'm sorry. Please tell me you're going to try and push your interview back past your second wedding anniversary. Please, please don't pay the $600 for ROC when a) you're within a hare's whisker of a ten year GC and b) USCIS have kept YOU waiting sooooooooo long.

has anyone from July, Aug and Sept received any good newssssssssssssssss???

How do you all predict this approval date?

The predictions are just part of a guessing game. When do you predict your case will be approved?

Goodnight all.

When did you guys marry? It looks like to me that your interview date will fall under 2 years of marriage. If I were you, then I would probably reschedule the interview so that I will receive 10 years GC instead of 2 years.

New Journey AOS:

My fiancee came to US on the 8th of March, 2014 under K-1 visa at Newark, NJ Airport for POE.

Applied Social Security Number on the 10 of March, 2014.

Married on the 13th of March, 2014.

Sent I-485, I-765, and I-131 on the 15th of March, 2014.

Received EAD on June 7, 2014.

Received Notice of Potential Interview Waiver on July 1, 2014 date 6/27

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

Prediction 04/08/2015

This process is just terrible. Also sucks is I can't take a year out with her when she has her sabbatical.

Good morning KVE, not sure I know what Global Entry? What I do know is someone recently got their GC successfully expedited for the purposes of student aid, it was on the thread around a week ago, so you can go down that route!f

Good morning Peeps,

Well this week has been very busy and to be honest it does gives us all hope. The USCIS seems to be playing catch up finally and hopefully the waiting times for newbies will be dramatically improved! Hoping that with Movin On they actually Move it on! I am sure that they will hear by the end of the week! Nat and Mark I think are getting interviewed for ROC and if not then its a travesty!

Any way hoping we hear lots of good news today and the USCIS are on a roll! May the GC force be with us all! :)

Don't worry. After I got the sent message, it was not until the following morning that I received the tracking number. I never received the welcome notice. I am going to be calling USCIS today to have them send another welcome notice out, not sure if that's possible though.

We haven't posted in this thread but I wanted to let everyone know that it does seem like they are working through a batch today.

At 9am Jo and I received a text stating our case had been updated. Upon checking online we have:

New Card Is Being Produced

On April 16, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us

We filed our AOS on 4/2/14 and received the NPIW on 7/10/14. It's been 1 year and 3 days but it's happening.

I hope more people watching this thread that are waiting will receive similar updates soon!

Sure. Basically around the same time each month, I compile the data from the Immigration timelines (each date is represented by a different color and the specific dates are listed on the right). It only includes those adjusting from K1 visas, but includes both NPIW and those who received interviews.

The month at the bottom (on the x axis) represents the month in which NOA1 was received. The percentage (the y axis) represents the percent of adjusters who have had a decision.

As you can see from the chart, Jan has been pretty flat for the last 3 months. That makes me think that a sizable number of VJers don't update their timelines after a decision -- like close to 30%. Also, it appears that roughly 25% of VJers that complete the timeline receive interviews.

Like you said in your elegant post from earlier, this is really an extremely small sample of what USCIS deals with, so I'm not certain that any other real conclusions can be drawn. I do like looking at it like this, though, since it makes it clear that things ARE moving, albeit slowly.

Would you be willing to work together to create a few charts? I was thinking of making a NPIW with all recipients of this letter from April 2014 to April 2015 and compile data of only K1 via AOS'ers with NPIW letters. Maybe we could put these in a public google drive folder and share the URL in our signatures and that way everyone can add info to the spreadsheet and we can update the charts once a month.

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview
