Well just spoke with Tier2 officer. He was nice but told us NOTHING. He said the case is at NBC (one year at this point) and that the decision has to be made at NBC (total BS). He also told us to wait for the reply to a useless SR... According to him no news is good news! What a bunch of nonsense!!! He apologized profusely but i don't believe anything...

Sigh! On the bright side he actually said where he thought your case was. My Tier 2 didn't even know which computer screen to look at to see where my case was. Double sigh.

That is bizarre! You know its Easter right, when you called you didn't happen to get someone called Harvey by any chance, a 6 foot bunny rabbit, as that would make more sense and Harvey would probably know more too!

Well I have been showing my husband's son how to make chilli/chili and I ended up burning it and then trying to strain the burnt bits out!!

Then I spoke to my son in England who wanted to wish me a Happy Easter. I ordered him some Easter eggs as he is a chocolate fiend and the damn company texted him to tell him his Easter gift wouldn't be there until the 7th. Talk about a surprising him... Not!

Plus I seem to have an upset stomach, not sure why other than I have antibiotic drops for an ear infection. No approvals apart from one random one that Derwood just informed me off.

Can't believe that the USCIS are actually opened on Good Friday, major holiday in England, most places give their employees the day off on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

My wife's Welcome to America letter arrived this evening. It's just a standard I-797 NOA form with "WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" at the top of the first paragragh which says this:

"This is to notify you that your application for permanent resident status has been approved. It is with great pleasure that we welcom you to permanent resident status in the United States."

In reality, the only pleasure that they had was before this letter, i.e., the sadistic pleasure in putting us through this disaster that they affectionately deem "Adjustment of Status".

It is my fervent hope that each and everyone of you see this piece of paper in your mailbox as soon as possible and that this part of the nightmare is over. We must all put our heads together and determine what we as a group, unapproved and approved, can do to affect change for future applicants. We cannot just throw up our hands when we get our card and say that this is just a rite of passage, a legal hazing that all have to go through...That is simply garbage. I didn't spend a career in the US Air Force to protect and defend this. It cannot stand...

I got an RFE requesting new medical as the one i submitted expired.. i have since done that and sent it via express mail to West Palm Beach office. still waiting

its been a year and 2 days. what more to do but wait :clock::clock::clock:

They are so inconsistent with the RFEs for our medicals. I had mine done at the end of January 2014 and didn't receive an RFE. While I'm fortunate in my case, I feel really bad for others who have had to redo their medicals.

I feel worn out guys. It's been a long week. I know we've had only a few approvals and it's disappointing to see how USCIS takes whatever explanation out of their a$$e$ just to shut us up. It really is taking its toll on me. We didn't pay $10, $100, or $500 to exercise our birth given right, we paid over $1,000 for half a$$ed service! It is so unbelievably unfair that there are people here that have waited more than 365 days! All of us here call USCIS with our fingers crossed for good news praying to God that something has changed in our favor, and some officers simply don't give a poop! WHERE IS THE SENSE OF URGENCY??? WHERE IS THE SERVICE WE DESERVE??? WHERE THE HELL ARE OUR GREEN CARDS?!?!?! I'm sorry guys, I'll shut up now.

And my heart goes out to you both!:( It is over $1,000 and we DO deserve better service!! It's absolutely disgraceful!

They don't have a sense of urgency as its not their life's and they are paid to do as they are told to do. I am sure there are lots of them working at the USCIS that are totally fed up of letting down their customers and being unable to help them!

Like Nlhernan said, we can't let this matter go once we get our GC's its needs to be taken further!
