I updated my prediction date, hopefully my wife won't have to wait that long or even after that date for her green card. Poor thing didn't want to visit her sick grandmother this weekend because of what CBP puts her through. It's a serious situation, but not serious enough for USCIS!

It is this simple, they are told by the authorities that are, to put AOS on a back burner, unless it's a "red flag" one! They are overworked, probably underpaid and have such a vast work load and they just read from a script or try to fob us off. It's all about a political agenda I think! I guess because we are now with our loved ones, that we are OK Jack.

What they fail to realise are the implications of this for us, for example you having to wait hours for your wife to get through border control, for Nlhernan's wife and I to be separated from our ONLY children and because they are now older than 21 having to wait for 7 years to sponsor them so we can be "proper" family units. I don't and never will understand why firstly my only child isn't my immediate relative or why it takes 7 years, nor do they take into account that Derwood was a policeman for 20 years and would like to do the same thing here.

I hate to say this but I think there is another visa starting on April 1st which will probably put AOS even further on the back burner! Doesn't matter we have paid thousands for this nor does it matter that people like Derwood and my son and Nlhernan's wife's son will contribute to the economy, it is what is current to the political climate at any one time!

Those cases are a rare commodity, it does happen but very, very rarely!!

Firstly, congrats to all those who got their approvals in the last couple of weeks. After reading today's posts my mood has tanked once again. April is almost here, and like so many others my wife and I are still waiting. All I have to say is I really feel for everyone being severely inconvenienced by this outrageous process. At this point my wife and I have no urgent need to go overseas, but would really like to take a trip to France in July to see her relatives. Hopefully there is still a chance. Hoping to see more approvals this week, as well as people becoming more hopeful once again! After all spring is finally here and for us in the frigid northeast that is good news! Good luck everyone!

I think there is a person here who is june filer too and he got approved a few days ago too .Did you see that ? I know it isn't a very common view,but made me see some hope as I am JUNE filer

I finally set an Infopass for April 13th. I hate to think I have to take ANOTHER whole day off to go down there again. I'm so afraid that they will just tell us it is still processing. The attorney told me it will most likely me a wast of time and HE dosen't know much, HE sent our renewal application to the wrong place! Now we won't be receiving an AP renewal!!! huff!! I'm so sick of this.

I finally set an Infopass for April 13th. I hate to think I have to take ANOTHER whole day off to go down there again. I'm so afraid that they will just tell us it is still processing. The attorney told me it will most likely me a wast of time and HE dosen't know much, HE sent our renewal application to the wrong place! Now we won't be receiving an AP renewal!!! huff!! I'm so sick of this.

If you have AP with your EAD, you should have no problem visiting France. As soon as I received my AP the first thing I did was book a trip to England to spend 6 weeks with my son for Christmas and the New Year and to help him decorate the house. I was exhausted when I got back it was SO worth it to see my son and cat!

You shouldn't have to do that, its disgraceful that you are still waiting!! Lets hope the green stuff works this week for you!

May as well make a guess at when I'll be getting my card. I've noticed a new April/May filers starting to trickle in, as well as July/August NPIW cases be passed.

Is April 15th being optimistic? Would be almost exactly 10 months.

It isn't being optimistic, there are some cases that do get assessed 10 months on. I predicted mine at 10 months on, as my friend from England is due then its their birthday and I can guarantee when I am busy partying and forgetting about the GC it will happen!
