Still waiting...I just got back from spending a week with my fiancé and his son in Irleand. It sure made the waiting a lot easier. We are all excited now. My fiancé asked him to be his best man, he is ten and over the moon with excitement. Hang tough everyone, they are worth the wait.

Our news is that we got our NOA1 hard copy about a week ago, which was a bit of a worry as we asked that it would be sent to France.

Plus, since yesterday I can no longer check the status of my case online which I assume is a sign that it got picked up

Hmmm, well I guess I need to be prepared for an RFE as well. I met my fiancé on Okcupid an online dating site just like CherryBlossom. I didn't specify anything only that it is an online dating site. I guess I better get my info started now. Sigh.....

hi, same here we met on okcupid. I didn't mention it, only that we met through online dating. Goddamn I'm feeling nauseous now. Why did I have to be so honest. I guess the pathway to hell is paved with good intention... :/

Am I the only one that is noticing the coincidence of this rash of RFE's for this "marriage broker/dating site" issue at CSC and the transfer of TSC files to CSC?

Odd timing. Perhaps it's a way of pushing aside some of their own workload by delaying their processing and making time for the TSC files

Next trick of theirs will be to start issuing the same RFE on the TSC files. Ouch!!

I wrote that we first met on match dot com, because we did. If I get a REF for telling the truth then so be it. Don't worry, I'll be pissed and all, because I really don't think match is a IMB. At lease my fiancée will come visit next month for 2 weeks. We had plained for early next year wedding because I didn't read on this site about processing times until after I mailed. I assumed 6-8 months. I studied more about filing the forms

12/30/13 Met online
05/23/14 Met in person
03/13/15 Mailed I-129F
03/17/15 NOA1
04/15/15 NOA2
04/28/15 NVC received
04/30/15 Case numbers
05/01/15 NVC Shipped
05/06/15 NVC at Embassy
05/12/15 Packet 3

06/08/15 Packet 3 Sent

Almost a month between getting pac 3 and sending it because we didn't plan to get married until early next year. Now we might just get married sooner :)

07/23/15 Medical done

08/10/15 Interview

APPROVED !!!!

08/17/15 Visa
