Got my interview waiver letter. Like some others have expressed, not quite certain how I feel about it. But, it's good to know something anyway. As long as I can work and travel (like I now can thanks to AP and EAD) the greencard doesn't mean that much to me anyway. Bring on the next six months. :)

Hi guys quick update I just got off the phone with a Uscis officer that I ask to be transferred to ...

He was nice I just asked him that I wanted to know a better status of my case ....if it was ready to be schedule for an interview or not ? Because nothing on my case had been updated since my fingerprint was received... He then ask me if I had called before and I said yes .... He then said to hold off for a second to look for my case and ask if I had received anything in the mail telling me what do next because he said my case has been ready for an interview since June 9th(which doesn't show online) but for some reason it was still in the National benefit center ... I answer No I didn't received anything....he then said he didn't know why and that he was going to transfered it to my Local office ! And also said there going to send a letter to tell me whats next!!! (interview in hoping) he said if I don't received anything in the mail by August 26 to give them a call to follow up!

I'm glad he told me that ! And the fact that my case has been ready since June 9th !!! It's weird how he didn't why my case hasent been transfered !? Has anyone experince anything similar ? Or heard from someone ?

Glad that you finally got some news. But it does seem weird that the USCIS rep did not know why your case was not transferred and that he has the ability to transfer it. I hope you hear something before the end of August. Keep us informed. We do see the "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" status on-line but it has been stuck that way since June 28. No news since. Still waiting for the interview. I wonder if our case is still at the National Benefit center. Who knows....

08/29/14 Received hard-copy NOA1 with notice date of August 22

10/15/14 Checked my case status on-line and was told that my approval was mailed out on Oct 15!

11/03/14 NVC received my case from USCIS (unsure of this date)

11/07/14 NVC assigned a case #, an invoice # and Beneficiary ID (unsure of exact date)

11/10/14 Package was sent to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico consulate (this date is known)

11/25/14 Received Package 3 (a letter) from Consulate dated Nov 19, 2014.

01/29/15 Interview in Ciudad Juarez - approved!!!

Yea my case still on fingerprint fee was received ...I don't know if he has the ability to do it himself or not but he did say it's going to be transfered to my local office and to wait for a letter if I don't get it by the 26 to call them again ...I try to ask him what kind of letter he said it was going to explain what is the status and the next step that are going to be taken which I really hope is my interview
