Finally made it to the US

Hi everybody good day to all, I just wanted to let you know that me and my wife finally landed in the us after a crazy 2 day delay cuz of delta airlines problems with the plane and ticket agents,,

Hi right before take off the plane blows a motor and these idiots are like telling us stay on plane we will fix yeah right where are you getting the new one from santa claus, so we sat there for 3 hrs before guess what no motor to find so we deplane and sit inside airport to people from delta come and say sorry no fix to we get new motor but you can catch another flight tomorrow but guess what there's only 1 flight leaving the Philippines everyday so they put us up in hotel wake us at 3:am to got to airport to see who can get lucky to catch another flight what a nightmare so i was able to book a flight to japan then on to Chicago then to phila , my wife's a nervous wreck so we past through immigration just looked at her paperwork and said welcome to America

Man that sucks but glad they did their part and saw the problem while you guys are still on ground..always look for the silver linings, i guess.

I had the same thing happen to me couple trip backs, they said it would be 1 to 4 hours to replace the motor. I figured it would take the 4 hours, They let us get off the plane, I went to the Delta Sky Lounge and started drinking cold San Migs, it was the full 4 hours before we got back on the plane. Good Times that trip was........

Hi i called delta to see about getting compansated and they tell me since we put you up in nice hotel which was MANILA HOTEL no comp but they sent me an email saying they will take 100.00 off my next flight what a joke

Welcome to the US and to PA!!! Hope you have winter coats ready for her, it's been a cold winter. There are a few Filipino stores in and around Philly but I found it best to go out to Jersey City. We ship our Balikbayan boxes from Makati Shippers in Jersey City. It's $48 for a jumbo box (the last 2 were 100 pounds or more each), if you ship from Philly count on paying $90 for the same box. Worth the trip plus there are 2 Filipino groceries right next door with fresh fish from the piers and cheap! On top of that there is a Jolibee restaurant 15 minutes away. If you're not familiar with Jolibee, she is. These are good things to know with the new wife. Congrats!!!
