And speaking of keeping it fresh. Does any ever get to the point, you have nothing to say ... just from the agony of hearing/seeing them in the NET but not being with them? Esp for those, like SZSZ said '6 years' .... having been going throu this for a long time. For me, this is my 4th year doing this... I am just about feed up!

We've done that a few times. My husband doesn't hestitate to show his frustration with our separation. He's been getting sick alot more lately from the stress and he sometimes just doesn't want to talk. My cheerleading about visa progress and other people's successes aren't working to cheer him up anymore.

I don't know how you guys managed without webcams!!! We use them about once a week and its really great to see my fiancee.

When we get bored we search for things on YouTube. My fiancee actually found a video someone made where they were driving through the streets of Algiers holding a webcam. We start the videos at the same time and he was pointing out all these things to me. Being apart sucks but I'm really thankful that we can communicate.

I hear ya, Henia! I'm just trying to hang on until my retirement products are all vested. Plus I travel so much, it's inconvenient to move there yet, not to mention that living here is a requirement for the IR-1. So close, yet so far . . .
