We are still waiting on our petition approval. We got transferred to CSC from VSC. Just got the transfer letter in the mail on Saturday. I tried to do an inquiry, but have to wait an additional 5 - 6 months before I can do that at least online. Not quite sure if my case has physcially arrived at CSC yet.

I heard CSC is working faster than other service center, so just pray you will hear good news from them soon. Wonder why they restarted the clock to 0 again when it's been more than 5 months already for you. Is it possible for you to call and ask for supervisor?

Anytime they tell you it will be unlock "later" or "today" it's almost guaranteed to be a lie. I called everyday twice a day between the 20th and the 31st of august and was told that a supervisor was going to unlock it everyday. You have to call and get to a level 2 supervisor and have them unlock it while you're on the phone.

I called them this Monday and told them that when i called on Friday the person told me to call back and speak to a supervisor- it took talking to 3 people but the last one finally transferred me to a real sup who had it unlocked in 5 minutes.

Well actually when my husband called back in the afternoon, the supervisor had been able to unlock it and they reviewed it over the phone! Hooray! Hoping the IV fee will be invoiced today :)

Our package should be delivered by Saturday. Things are moving forward, I'm beginning to see the light at the end of this long tunnel!

On the same day that the IV fee showed PAID for me, the 260 was available in the evening for me. Didn't get an email about it. Didn't get email documents being reviewed until after i submitted the 260, but it could be a coincidence. My timeline events were close together. I don't think an email is necessary if they confirmed they have documents.

Hi kamw,

For my daughter, I paid on Tuesday morning and on Wednesday afternoon it was already showing as paid with the DS-260 was unlocked.

Regarding the confirmation email, the same happened to her case as well. I called them and they said that sometimes they just don't send it.

I think they have a bug or something with "locked" cases, GRRRR! :girlwerewolf2xn:

Either on the same day or one day after. For me, I paid IV on Friday and DS-260 was available on Monday. Doing things at the end of the week is surely not fun lol.

Hi and Good Morning!

BTW, I also was wondering the same thing. I called NVC on Monday afternoon, and the rep told me that the doc's were scanned that day. So, I too, was hoping for an email stating that the docs were received or scanned into the system with the date on there.

But, I guess I shouldn't rely on that, since I haven't gotten any emails from them at all, even when I got my approval (NOA2) from USCIS, I had to constantly be checking the status online to know that it had gotten approved. In any case, we were both told that the docs have been scanned to the system. :)

Now, we just wait for CC..... hopefully no checklist!!!!

When I called yesterday about my daughter's documents receipt confirmation, they said that sometimes they just don't send it. But guess what?

I just got it right now - my hunch is that they only did it because I called and asked about it. So you should call. Sorry for steering you in the wrong direction.

Hi everyone,

We have not heard anything back yet. I contacted my congressman's office and they said to give it 30 days for a response and if nothing, they will reach out and see what they can do.

Anyhow, something really weird happened today, hoping it's a positive sign!! I had seen a few days ago in the online account that my request from the InfoPass appointment had been assigned to an officer. When I saw that you had asked for an update I decided to log in and see if there was any other action. Well, our online account with USCIS is locked! So I can't get in. It says everything I am putting in is incorrect and I had to email them, which I just did. I know the answers to my security questions are correct, and that I am entering the correct password. So not sure if it's just some weird glitch or if it means something! When I enter the case number on the general case status page it says the same message it's been saying since February though.

You have to send both packages together as ONE package, with the document cover sheet from the receipt of AOS fee, or from the welcome letter.

IV becomes available as soon as you can get them to review your 261 over phone or you can wait 15 days or something like that.

This happened to us months ago but it seems to be because they make the password expire and force you to change it by locking out your account. So you need to do the forgot password.

at least that is what happened to us at USCIS.

Was after about 3 months or so.

Actually, you can send it earlier, as soon as you pay for the AOS/261, even while processing. You do not have to wait for IV fee or DS260.
