My NOA1 date is Feb 2nd but I am still waiting for NOA2 :(

My husband also applied for I 129F (NOA1 date Feb 19) but we haven't heard anything about our case after that :'(

Is it true that those who apply for I 129F get their approval a bit later than those who just apply for I-130??

Please help!!

I don't know this with certainty.

I also applied for I-129F, but first was I-130. Technically, tomorrow will be my 5 month mark for the I-130. My wife and I were married only 3 weeks prior to my (I-130) NOA1 date of Feb. 12, 2015. Hopefully they will not delay too long because the last thing I wanted to do by applying to both 129F & 130 was delay processing time for either.

If you guys have any questions specifically for me,

I will be glad to help via private message.

I'm positive they definitely won't delay because of duration of marriage, it's a shorter duration for others too. Don't stress about it. Leave it all for The Master! He always works it out at the perfect time.

I don't think how long you are married prior to your I-130 would be a concern as long as it's bonafide. I was also scared before since my case was I had to leave the country back to Indonesia just a day after our marriage, plus we also applied 3 weeks after our wedding, but we just had the approval 3 days ago. Second to what mbalih said, leave it to the Master. Don't worry too much and enjoy the process. :)

Absolutely, not worried at all.. Time has been flying since marriage, and in July it's been slowing down due to my anticipation.

Just today God demonstrated his love and protection for me (went off the road and into a field, did not hit anything.) It's been a very testing day and I feel very blessed! So no matter what happens with this, I know that He has a plan and timing with a purpose.

I have a question? My husband father has just past last night ? my heart brakes for him! And his mother is going through chemotherapy. Do you guys think USCIS will allow me to enter the US just for a quick trip for the funeral? Or is this grounds for expidite service? Thanks in advance! Have a bless Sunday.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father in law. I'm no expert in this, but the best thing to do is for your husband or yourself to call USCIS and find out. I hope that you will be able to be there with your family for the funeral. My condolences to the family!

Thank you. I pray that I'll at least have two days just for the funeral to comfort my husband and my kid's.

I'm sorry to hear that about your son, he will be fine! The devil is a liar!!!!!!

I really hope it all works out for him and he gets better soon enough. Please, do let us know how the medical request goes, I think it would only be fair that he gets that granted.

Hi! I am still learning my way around this site, but we filed in February. Our stuff was sent off on February 12, 2015 (February 17 it was delivered at USCIS). February 19 we received the email saying our case had been accepted. The case was approved on March 19, 2015. Our case has since been approved for expedite (as of June 23, 2015) and is at the embassy (according to NVC), but we still have not heard anything from the embassy.

You left your receipt number in the body part where I put XXXXX

To answer your question. You are not onto the NVC state. That is where you do more waiting as well as stuff for AOS documents, IV documents, pay some fees etc.

You will want to check out this:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Our case was sent to NVC on June 26th if I remember. I called on Friday and they received it on July 2nd but still have not assigned a case number etc. I was told by them it will take 4 weeks from that date.
