I spoke to NVC few minutes ago. NVC rep said my case is with agent and my answered checklist (corrected AOS - very tiny minor changes and copy of my marriage certificate) is being reviewed. My checklist scanned date is Dec 22nd. Hope to get a CC today or next week.

Hi all, quick update my wife rang NVC and said they are working off a 42 day turn around from when we send in the packet, so I don't know if that is misinformation or a sign of improvement.

If someone could please please help - my wife used to be a LPR and has a A no, but is now a citizen on the I-864 should she include her A number?? if not just leave it blank or put N/A? thanks, we are sending the forms off tomorrow hopefully!!!!

My scan date is also Dec 22nd. This is great news if they are going through our day as we speak. I wish you the best of luck with your case

I suggest in the wiki to put each package in its own manila envelope (with all the info written on the outside of it), then put both manila envelopes in one shipping envelope.

Oh awesome! So you wrote the wiki? it has been unbelievably helpful, so thank you :) I just wasn't sure if it was upto date, but obviously if you post here it is!

Thanks again :)

Yes!! We finally got ours 6 hours ago!!

NVC is ridiculous. Esp Abbey from NVC told me on the phone that our scan date is Feb 19. But the email said Jan 16 which was the date we sent by email. However, we are not complaining this time since we are back on track!!

Hope you all get yours very, very soon. It is such a torture not knowing and have agents on NVC telling us all sorts of crazy lines.

Oh that's so great!!!! That's so good to hear guys. I often feel like we are a part of a terrible experiment to see if they can mentally break us before we make it to the U.S. lol. I think we're proving them wrong so ha!

Yup, I wrote the NVC Process wiki. And if you look at the top of it, I always put when I last update it, even if it's something small. And yes, it's always kept up to date. As soon as something changes that I hear about or whatnot, boom, update! ;)
