NOA1 Notification

Hey everyone,

So I'm really worried, my fiancé sent our package (I-129F) via Fedex with tracking number. The package has been received and signed for on the 21st of January. However we've yet to receive any notifications (email nor hard copy).

Is this normal?

It has been ten days and I'm slightly worried now. I know NOA2 takes ages but after reading few threads it seems that everyone received their NOA1 within a week or less.

We've also used money order so I'm not sure if they've cashed the money yet or not.

Could this be a problem?

Hang tough, it sometimes takes awhile for USCIS to get the notification out. Patience will be your ally going forward.

It usually takes 1-2 weeks. If it is signed for as received then its just a matter of time until u get the NOA1. When it comes to the process, I have one word of wisdom - PATIENCE!

It can take 2-3 weeks to get NOA1.

I really appreciate your comments, I'm kind of relieved now.

I guess we'll give it another 11 days that will make it 3 weeks. It's just really frustrating .

Say that after 3-4 weeks we still haven't received any NOA1 what do we do? and has this happened to anyone else?

You can always call USCIS. The one thing they aren't bad at is giving you basic info (such as if your case has arrived yet).

So just a quick update.. Our package got returned because we forgot to sign something *sigh* that's why it took a long time to get a NOA1.
