I had my interview at the embassy this morning, and approved!!

Just checking, they don't give you anything to say it's approved right? The lady gave me back my birth certificate, Police cert. and affidavit stuff.

Ok, so I'm calling the NVC and dialed 1 for English. Then after there's other options to select...what number do I press? Lol sorry for sounding dumb, but I'm so confused haha

Going insane waiting for packet 4 and the all important interview date

On the 27th July status on CEAC site was updated 2 days later got packet 3, completed the DS160 and ready form on the 23rd, status still as READY on CEAC but update date changed to the 30th. Still nothing

Any tips or help to stop the insanity

Sorry, there is no way to stop the insanity but there is the option to call DOS and see if your interview has been scheduled.

Here is a link to the London K-1 process that senior members created. About midway thru the tread it gives details on contacting DOS. there is other great info in there as well

I called nvc twice, once the guy told me there was no date yet, second time the last eventually gave me the date but I had to be a little pushy. Good thing because we never got packet 4....our lawyer had to confirm with embassy after I told her NVC gave me a date. We never got packet e either, so at least you received that. We just had a LOT of trouble with M's mail.

Gizzmondo: It's still pretty early yet. My suggestion, if a week or two have gone by of waiting and you still haven't received anything is to send off an email to the embassy, ask about your interview date. They will tell you.
