Confirmed!!! 24th will be our interview... so nervous!!!

WOW...it's so close! I wish you the best!

NVC didn't receive our case till March 9 (2 weeks after NOA2)... I just keep getting the same response that it will be 35 days ... any ideas what sort of timeframe is realistic to get the Case # at present?

I would call them today if you have not done so. It is only a day or two and you get your case number!!

I tried twice today already and now they say 35 days and not 30 days. I guess I'll just keep calling.

Enquired about medical and got all the details, I guess that's about it for now.

Hope everyone is moving along and making progress ! (F)

Ok.. found it... I checked Case Status on USCIS .. ours went today... phew!

(After my intense obsession with checking for NOA2 I forgot all about Case Status) lol.

Hi my NOA2 is on the same date as yours did USCIS told you when they shipped it to NVC.

Hi my NOA2 is on the same date as yours did USCIS told you when they shipped it to NVC.

Yes, we got a message that it went on March, 09. So it took about two weeks for them to send it. I guess we will be waiting two weeks or so, but I still call every day. So frustrating. I don't know why TSC held onto it for so long.

(p.s. I apologize for my almost daily grizzles on this. As if the TSC wait wasn't long enough)

I feel you... NOA2 January 15th and still no interview date - we were definitely on the slow boat from USCIS to NVC to Dublin... we all will get there!

Congrats to those moving further along...

And likewise.. that's a long haul from Jan 15th .. they're so inconsistent. I think I'm getting used to the idea finally, just trying to keep busy.

I am right there with you...once our case gets to Ghana it takes 6-8 weeks to get an interview. Talking about slow...Like you said we will all get there!

I figured it would go fast to Dublin (Dublin is on my bucket list-hahah. My family is Irish) because there are not a lot of cases that go there! I wish you a speedy interview date.

I am hoping to Schedule my interview after may 5th as I have a dress fitting to attend before I get my visa. But, Montréal is taking FOREVER to send my packet 3, so we gathered all the documents and I finally sent the email with my ds-163 my checklist and the remaining required things. Yay!

Now, just have to wait some and hopefully hear from them soon enough. CEAC says my case was received on feb 26.

Aiming for POE on June 11!

Just got off the phone with the NVC, and they have my case in their system now! I got my case number and was told it is now in AP - apparently it's standard for all fiance visas, or so I was told. No time frame for when they'll send it on to the embassy. But hey, they have it! Progress!

Montreal is notoriously slow for sending out Packet 3's. We still haven't gotten ours by mail, so we did it online. You have to email them your checklist anyway. You can see and print the PDF here... http://photos.state.gov/libraries/canada/303578/montreal/Packet3-K1-MTL.pdf

We still aren't able to book our interview there because the payment isn't showing, even though we paid it a week ago. We've emailed them a copy of the receipt though, so hopefully they'll get it rectified quick.

You can go look at the most recent K-1 in Ghana who have an interview scheduled. That is the norm around 6-8 weeks. They are very very slow! lol

Thanks! :D I really hope so too, and so does my boss, who's very eager to know when I'll leave my job, lol.

Also, I don't know if people are still wondering about this but I've seen posts about it before: Our NOA2 didn't list a consulate or embassy that the case would be sent on to. I asked the nice lady at the NVC, and she told me that as it's a standard letter they usually don't fill that out. No need to inquire further - especially after you're given your case number, which will tell you which embassy/consulate your case will be sent on to (like mine is STK for Stockholm).

I was planning on waiting, but after 2 weeks I told myself screw it and emailed everything last night. We will look onto paying the fees tonight. Hope you get an appointment soon!
