Today I called in NVC and recived case number and Invoice ID number. But the person who aswered the phone told me that it will take 20 days till I get confirmatin email from NVC and nothing can be done before I get email from NVC, is that true? I went in the website and submited my ds-261 and it workd, but when I try to pay my AOS or IV bill it was not invoiced.

Any of you know how long it will take to recive the AOS & IV bill after submiting the DS-261? I have not receved any email from NVC yet. I apriciate your input. Thank you all and good luck!

AOS fee will be invoiced 1-3 days after DS261 was submitted. It takes aprox 30 days for DS261 be reviewed. After that IV fee will be invoiced.

PS.: Do not reopen DS261 once it is completed because this will restart 30 days count.

Thank you so much for that info. Wow I realy apriceate you telling me not to open the DS-261. You know, I would keep on opening it till I get my bill if you haven't told me :). I even opend it 3 times today, but no more.

How long it takes to get the first letter from NVC? 1-3 days?

Thank again!

I called NVC after submitting DS-261 and AOS fee showed as paid to ask how long before IV fee generates. The CSR lady said because she just reviewed it my IV fee should generate within 7 days. It showed up the very next day :). So do call to speed things up!

Hmmmmm, I doubt it. From seeing your timeline you paid you AOS on 14th and IV 22nd. I think it takes from 5-15 days to get the IV bill. Good luck with the rest of the processes!

It is possible....calling can sometimes push things :)

I was told that DS-261 will be reviewed in 30-42 days. Then I called them again after 15 days and it was reviewed by the phone.

I just called and I was very polite :), but the rep told me it has been only three days since your case has been interned in the system, wait at list till Tuesday to call us then we may review your DS-261 by phone. My AOS and supporting docs are ready but I'm going to wait till I pay the IV to send it together. Thank you for telling me about the push thing :)
