LAX.

I met a lady when I first came here. We were at PAL flight to LAX. She was petitioned by her son who lives in Las Vegas. They will spend a week in LA before going home to Vegas. She submitted her visa packet to LAX.

What about when flying from LAX- NC I don't need to submit anything when I arrive at the NC airport?

You don't need anything other than US government issued ID to fly domestic or your home country passport. You can use your license to fly when you are in the US or green card when you get it.

1st airport within the USA is your POE (exceptions for territories and Canada). In your case LAX

Yes LAX POE will take the do not open envelope. No one in NC will ask to see your passport or visa.

LAX will be your POE.

The POE is always the first US soil you step on. Typically it can be Guam, Hawaii, West Coast USA or anyone of a number of airports throughout the US that can accommodate non stop flights from abroad.

Another question guys, what do I need to bring at the airport once I leave phil.? Beside the DO NOT OPeN envelope and passport?

It is always a good idea to carry a pen so you can complete the US CUSTOMS DECLARATION form they will give you on the airplane. This is where you declare anything you are bringing into the US like food or items that are not yours but are presents for other people or tiems you purchased in the PI to bring to the US. You will hand the declaration form to the CBP agent along with your passport and the DO NOT OPEN envelope. The CBP agent will return your passport and the declaration form and you will go pick up your luggage and proceed thru Customs where you will give them the Delcaration form after they process your visa.

Good luck,

Dave
