Wrong phone number on form I-129 F

Hi! Just got a question about form I-129F. So I was sorting our documents today and I was looking at the I-129F form sent by my fiance. He noted the wrong daytime phone number for me ? its my fault though because I think I sent him the wrong phone number. The error is just one digit.

Do I need to do anything about this? Just getting really paranoid now and triple checking eveything because we have the interview next month.

Thanks for the help! :)

You should email the embassy with the correct phone number or make sure to give it at the interview. Many times the embassy will call the Beneficary asking for documents or to let you know your visa is being issued. It's important that they have the correct phone number and email address.

I have never heard of US Embassy calling anyone in PHilippines asking for documents.

I personally would not sweat having correct phone number, just make sure 2Go the courier services has correct phone number that way when they send you a text regarding your they have sent visa, 2Go has a window inside the US Embassy to confirm all information

Just because you never heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't happen if the case gets put into AP for whatever reason. There is no law that says she will get her visa the day of the interview. My advice is simple. Make sure the embassy can contact you under any circumstances.

They never dialed either mine or hers, but yeah good idea to give the interviewer the correct number and apoligize for the mistake.

Negative

Although it would be a good plan to have correct phone number, I see no need to go thru the pain/trouble/cost of sending another signed copy.

I have never heard of US embassy calling petitioner and asking for more information, If information is needed it is done thru emails/courier services

Carolyhotstuff I have been a member of this fourm many more years than you and have watched the Philippines section many many years.

Ok let's get back to being civil here. Everyone has given good information to the OP. Yes its a good idea that the OP correct the phone number at the time of the interview. And yes it's a good idea to make sure that 2go has the correct phone number and you can do that at the end the interview. But there is no need for you to email the Embassy. No one will be calling you.

NO. Don't do anything, really doesn't matter. Make you have info correct when the process gets to the Philippines and signing up on USTRAVELDOCS, especially your email - this is what the embassy will use to contact you if need be.

It is absolutely important to submit accurate information,

but since I-129F is on the US side of the processing for US fiance to process,

I highly doubt they will be calling your phone number.

That said, once I-129F is approved, and it moves through NVC to local embassy,

and they should send you packet 3 to your address specified in I-129F.

At that point you will start the K1 visa processing, and you will have chance to correct

the phone number in your DS-160 (online) application, and also by informing them

during the interview.

Neither my fiancee (wife now) or fiancee ever received a call from USCIS or embassy.

However, she did receive a phone call from a designated bank location

to pick up her passport/visa.

The packet 3 never arrives to those located in the Philippines. Postal delivery sucks in PI. The DS-160 will not correct the I-129f so she needs to correct at the interview. USEM Philippines uses 2Go delivery service and she definitely wants 2Go to have the correct phone number and she does that at window 70 when called after the interview.
