I may have left out some documents on AOS

I hope I am just being paranoid, but I think I may have left out some things from my AOS package. I filed for my wife who recently arrived on a K-1 and we have since gotten married.

I only sent one copy of everything that was required (I-94, passport, copy of K-1 visa, etc...) and I just realized that the I-485, I-131, and I-765 are all separate applications.

So, for example, I only sent one copy of the I-94 with the whole package, but on the instructions for the I-765 and I-131 they each require a copy of the I-94.

Same goes for the photos and copy of passport. I only sent 4 passport sized photos, and only one copy of her passport and K-1 visa, even though each application requires its own.

I hope this makes sense. Anyone have experience? How many copies of each required supporting document did you send?

Good question but I think you only need 1 copy for the entire package to go along with the other I-.....applications if you are filing them at the same time and not separately. I'm about to mail out my AOS packet but I will wait to see what others have to say on the topic.

It is possible that you will get an RFE for the missing documents. There should have been copies attached to each of the forms per the instructions. The forms are processed in different locations so one copy will not work from what I understand.

No worries, you filed all forms together. We did the same and never got an RFE, we sent only one copy of the documents and did not have an issue, my wife received her EAD a while back and has her AOS interview next month.

21 Aug 2013: I-129F Sent

11 Feb 2014: Visa APPROVED!

20 May 2014: Wedding!

They are mailed together but processed separately. You may or may not receive an RFE. Some do, some don't. Hopefully you will be fine.
