Welp, our check was cashed 1/20 and hard copy NOA received 1/22. Things are moving along as planned so far. Can anyone help update me in the list?

Our naturalization timeline
1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

1/20/2015 - Check cashed

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

Added my information below. I just received the NOA. Not sure what to do next, I thought there would be some kind of instructions/date on here.

NOA is exactly, and only, what it sounds like :) You do what we all do now and just wait!

My online status never changed since the FIRST update..that is "we received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC".....

Did any one check if their online status was updated after receiving NOA or Yellow letter.Thanks.

On January 12, 2015, we received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number *************, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by February 11, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

i sent my application jan 6th, i received online confirmation, and still havent received the paper noa

i cant believe it takes so long, im hoping tomorrow monday i get it, if not im getting scared now

usps cannot be trusted lol

01-06-2015 = N-400 packet sent (to P.O. Box Dallas via USPS Priority Mail)

It was USPS not FedEx, that's the problem. USPS is minor league when you actually need something to get somewhere on time.

So, we received NOA - USCIS Received Date January 14, Notice Date January 16. Now we just hurry up and wait. :dancing:

yes, it was USPS, I had done it before with them, never had this problem, they will return the money and I guess the package will be there tomorrow. They tried to deliver it on Saturday but duh, I told them it was closed as all government institutions. Thanks, I will update as soon as my check gets cashed. :)

The NOA is just your receipt notice.

The yellow letter is something that you may or may not get later that reminds you what to bring to your interview... it is not an interview notice and not everyone gets one... and it's yellow.
