Thanks for this amazing list, I just wanted to clarify, you're saying to send several copies of passport and birth certificates and basically treat each application (AP and EAD) as separate packets and submit all the same docs every time? Or are you just listing them for completeness but in reality only one copy is sufficient?

Congrats again! My appointment is april 7th I can't wait to join the approved club lol!

I'm going to send everything in, in one package. I'm just going to make 3 seperate folders. So it would be more organized for them. AOS folder, EAD folder and ADVANCED PAROLE. not that I need that but it's free so just in case anything might happen back home. I would be able to come back.

And just an idea. My friend just got an RFE yesterday. For the most dumbest reason ever. She has her ssc but they would not let her change it to her married name. But when they send everything in she included among other papers, certified copy of marriage, copy of her finances bio page on passport.

And her RFE said they could not be sure that she actually took his last name when they got married and they want a letter from her and him. Saying that she took his last name. (Apparently for them it wasn't enough proof that she had a marriage certificate). But I'm thinking about putting those letters in there too. Just in case to be on the safe side.

And I'm hearing a lot of ppl getting RFE for not enough passport style pictures. So I'm including 6 two for every thing I'm sending in. Aos, ap and EAD.

Thanks for this amazing list, I just wanted to clarify, you're saying to send several copies of passport and birth certificates and basically treat each application (AP and EAD) as separate packets and submit all the same docs every time? In here you mention the cover letters, what is the cover letter? I mean is that like the letter that we wrote for the I-129F? Like a letter of intent? Also where do we get a copy of the I-94? Ps. She lands here in USA in about 5 hours! So excited!

By cover letter I mean for each thing like aos you make a letter stating everyrhing you have included.

I found this one on VJ. Something like this.

Please don't hijack our thread for your question. You've already asked this question in the appropriate forum. I just answered your question for you there. Thank you!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days
