Confused about interview in Stockholm

11 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

I have received my interview appt and letter whith instructions.

Per the guide here on VJ I should bring all documents, original and copies, but I'm not required to turn in anything according to my letter.

All they ask for is my passport, pass photos and it says that payment is received.

Should I still bring documents or what??? And the letter says nothing about a fee or stamped envelope.

Another thing. I don't have a babysitter. My son is US citizen. Can I bring him with me?

Thanks in advance.

did you send the originals or they are with you? because if you send the originals to nvc they automatic send all to the embassy? i will take my son with. i will be doing that when i get my interview.

This is the greatest lesson a child can learn. It is the greatest lesson anyone can learn. It has been the greatest lesson I have learned: if you persevere, stick w/it, work @ it, you have a real opportunity to achieve something. Sure, there will be storms along the way. And you might not reach your goal right away. But if you do your best and keep a true compass, you'll get there. Edward M. Kennedy,

The new rules for the NVC is to send photocopies only so you would bring originals to interview, however since you probably sent everything before Nov 12th, then they should already have your originals and you'll be fine. Bring your passport, the photos, your medical (if you hand carry that) and marital evidence.

Make sure you've signed up for any return courier service if there is one required.

Your son should be able to attend with you, bring his US passport.
