Does USCIS call an immigrant's ex spouse to determine whether the marriage was real for N400?

I got conditional green card through marriage to a usc. I got divorced before the 2 years mark applied for I 751 gfm waiver, got approved for 10 year card. Since it was a nasty divorce I am wondering whether uscis calls ex spouses to determine whether the marriage was real. My ex might lie to the uscis and tell them it was not real or i tricked them just to get back at me. My ex did accuse me of fraud via email and I candidly sent that email to the uscis along with proofs of good faith marriage when I applied for I 751 waiver. Do you think if uscis calls and my ex lying and telling marriage was fraud when it was not or me sending my ex's email to the uscis where they accused me of fraud will cause any troubles now? Should I be worried? I want to ensure I have a solid case before I file for n 400. I will be filing under the 5 year rule.

no, because you will be filing for citizenship under the 5 year rule and not through marriage

they might ask you about your marriage at the interview, but since you have a divorce decree, that's about it. you don't have to prove that your marriage was bona fide, that's under the 3 year rule

Since you are applying under the five year rule, they don't care what the current status of your marriage is.

However, if hey suspect that you lied five years ago to get your green card, they will investigate to see if your green card should be revoked. That's the only case where they may call your ex wife.

Whether you applied under the five or three year rule is irrelevant if you lied to get your green card.

They sometimes investigate people who got their greencard through employment with a small company and then changed jobs immediately afterwards. Those cases don't have anything to do with marriage.

Incidentally, someone paired in here last week that USCIS questioned his ex wife for 1 hour on the phone after his interview.

So in short, if there's a reason they may suspect that you lied five years ago, then you've got a headache ahead of you. If not, you'll be fine.

If they believed just verbal reports of immigration fraud from ex-spouses, lots of people would be getting deported. Without substantial proof, anything an ex says is under great doubt due to their potential motivations.

I filed under the divorce waiver. The officer did not ask me one question about my marriage.
