Hey,

so today I called the NVC, because we have a lawyer, we got the IV and the AOS invoiced at the same time. and we got an email with both invoices.

in the last couple of days, they have been telling me it is an error in the system and it should show as payable in the next couple of days.

Today I called and they were like, the IV doesnt show as invoiced, you should get it soon, as we have an error in the system--> what the heck?!!

:ranting::cry::clock:

anyone else in the same situation?

The easiest way for them is to say there is an error in the system :D

Submit ds261-25/11

Call NVC-8/12

Nvc told me that no da261 on there system and I need to do a new one. Advised to complete new ds261 online and make myself (beneficiary) the agent. Then call by the end of the week and NVC will review ds261 on the phone and invoice IV fee

Resubmit IV fee-8/12

Really worried about this but I'm praying that when I call at the end of the week it will be sorted.

Now reading your posts in realising that NVC probably couldn't see my Ds261 because of there system errors. Because I have reciept of submission for first ds261 and it said complete on CEAC.

Oh and one thing 3 different NVC workers have told me is to submit the AOS and IV docs straight away after AOS is paid. Don't wait for IV.

I was told the same, to submit the AOS and the IV docs together straight away after AOS is paid, but should we really trust them? they just want to get you off the phone and get the next panic attack from the next caller.

Everyone I've spoken to at the NVC has advised to do the same. It shaves some time off as your documents will be getting reviewed whilst they're waiting for this problem to sort itself out (because they don't appear to be doing anything about it at all). I've called three times since we submitted the DS-261 and been given different timescales for review and hence, the IV invoice. It's far more concerning to me that those who don't have to complete this absolutely moot form aren't getting their invoices either. Every time I call it's technical issues that "are beyond their control". Gives a whole new literal meaning to the phrase "America's immigration system is broken"... Edited by shippingforecast

I know the system Id fraught with inaccuracies and it's hard to trust the NVC workers but we have decided to send our packages in before IV. Never know how long IV fee will take to be invoiced. Some people are being quoted 42-60 days. Hopefully NVC fixes there system soon.

did you try the other CEAC website?

https://ceac.state.gov/ctrac/invoice/signon.aspx

if that doesn't work, then maybe you'll have to mail the payment to them.
