Took my husband to his Biometrics appointment on Friday. How much LONGER until he gets his work permit? I am so impatient and it hasn't even been that long since we sent his AOS paperwork LOL I just need some help with the whole financial deal.

Anybody know about how long until the work permit? We sent the AOS paperwork about a month ago.

Mine showed up after 45 days. That was quite a while ago, granted, but I would expect a timeframe in the 2-3 month range, tops.

@Steve and SongSang - Oh the waiting is very trying. We got a Potential Interview Waiver back in August I believe and still nothing that says Yay or Nay. Faycel will have been here a year in February and I dont want his temporary green card to expire. I tried to to an online inquiry but they say that its still within processing times. Its getting to the point where I want to call and ask someone some questions but I know they will only tell me that Faycel should be the one to call.

I really dislike waiting.

It took a long time for us to get the EAD. I'd say we almost made it to 90 days. It was long and trying for sure. We did get the interview waiver letter and are now awaiting any action on that end too. It's good he's here, but it would be really nice to not have all these pending items lurking for thought in the back of my mind!
