Thank you for this thread! While its lovely to see all CSC people getting approved, its a bit annoying to know we'll be waiting for our NOA2 around April-May unless some miracle happens! -1 month dow

Tell me about it! The frustration was killing us and each day we keep checking our status for it to say we're being transferred, but I wasn't expecting an approval this early but I am thankful and happy. We will all be with our love ones some day and soon enough, this will all be memories for us :)

Ours wasn't transferred.. this really is so frustrating. Peter bought a flight in June and praying he will be he during the birth of the baby (due June 27). I Seriously cannot believe this is taking this long.

You're still within the 5 month range right now. The 5 month range on the UCSIC website is only for adjudicating the I-129f. Even if your petition was approved today, it would be pretty tight to expect the case to hit NVC>Consulate>Interview the get Visa by June 27th considering most interviews I've seen occur about 2 months post NOA2.

I hope he can still make it down for the baby. :)

Even if your petition was approved today, it would be pretty tight to expect the case to hit NVC>Consulate>Interview the get Visa by June 27th considering most interviews I've seen occur about 2 months post NOA2.

But I would imagine since you guys have already filed and he can prove he'd have to go back for the interview/medical that you have very little to worry over. I suspect you'll have your approval within the next 2-3 weeks latest so having the NOA2 would be even more proof that he's not just planning to visit and say, oh well might as well stay after all that wait and money because I love wasting time and money!- lol. For me, Canada and US have an open borders policy that makes it less of a struggle to come and go.

I am guessing that is supposed to mean 2-3 months.

2-3 weeks for a November filer are not going to happen, unless they hit the luck of the draw.

But be relaxed about the border crossing, come armed with binding ties back to the UK and just go for it!

My theory is that when the cases are received they each go to a pile on a particular adjudicator's desk, and let's just say some are probably more "efficient" than others. In that sense it's kind of a lottery if you will end up in a pile on the desk of someone who is more efficient, or someone who calls in sick frequently or takes lots of breaks haha :idea: I'd love to be able to take a tour and see what goes on down there!

3/3/2015- Petition received (NOA1 according to USCIS website)

3/5/2015- Paper NOA1 notice date

9/1/2015- NOA2!! (182 days)

9/4/2015- sent to NVC

I find it interesting that of the 14 or so approvals on April 2nd, they were all September or November, with one August and one Dec 3rd. Makes me think that maybe they have sent October off to be transferred?

Hi Everyone,

We filed our K-1 last November 2014, we had RFE and replied in the time provided. As per USCIS website we should be getting a decision by March 3, 2015 but every time I check our case it has not been updated, we are still waiting... The petitioner has been calling the customer service on a weekly basis to get some update but was told that they are still processing our application...can never provide as to when it will be approve.

I am hoping that the workload transfer would help most of the TSC fillers, who had been waiting for so long...

Any input/update will be greatly appreciated.

Federal Government is not closed on good friday or Easter Monday. Its my understanding that USCIS workers in this area don't even observe M-F workwork week that there are people there working weekends as well. Not that that makes things move any faster for any of us.

I hope everyone had a great Holy week last week. I know my prayer went up for this process to go quickly!!

That may well be...however, since I joined these boards I have observed that I-129F adjudication grinds to a halt in any kind of holiday week.

Maybe they are deprioritized on those days even more than usual...who knows...
