I can't believe NVC did that to you, after all the time you took to get the packet perfect and for them to review it, they just forget to send it?? Unreal! I know sometimes mistakes are made, but these are people's lives here, not some commodity we're unsatisfied with and want to return it.

I can't tell u how I feel right now. I m beyond depressed. The system is working totally against us

VJ friends I have news as well....

I submitted expedited request on 12/11/2014 and today it was approved... YEAPEE!! :dancing:

This is what i got:

The U.S. Embassy is willing to expedite this case when we have all the fees, forms, and documents. If you have not already done so, you can pay your fees and submit Form DS-260 at ceac.state.gov. Please send everything else to this address:

What do i do next? Does NVC automatically sends my docs. Since i am already post-Checklist? How long would it take to get the appointment from the embassy??? does anyone know.??

Hi there! Congraaaats!

So, I had the same kind of expedite...Unfortunatly NVX won't send your packages right away...instead, you need to have a case complete, and then you won't need to wait in the line to have them scheduling an interview; your package is sent right away to the consulate and they schedule the interview for whenever they can...but that will happen only after a case complete from NVC..:/ it sucks, but trust me, it's waaay better than nothing!!

Hey everybody,

Just got an e-mail from. NVC that all of our documents have been received, and that we will receive an interview date soon. 2 questions

1.) Does this mean we got approved??

2.) Any idea until how long our interview is set, or a potential interview date??

Thanks everyone!!

I am disappointed... This really stinks! Well being at NVC just really stinks. I think they on purpose make this process really complicated and makes our lives miserable. :crying:

Soloenta I'm so happy for you! You have been waiting so long, I'm truly thrilled for you!

I posted in the NVC thread :) I think all will be ok at some point. Just so worried I'm going to be away from my husband for a lot longer than I thought if we get another checklist :(

Thank you my sweet friend and I know your pain but don't forget we are all praying for you both and I am now convinced (without sounding like a fanatic) that God makes us wait for one reason or another. But I know in my heart that you will get your Visa very soon. :) Praying hard.

It is all yours ....enjoy...in fact anyone and everyone is welcome to it .Maybe it will bring some much needed luck to those waiting for the CC .

Where are you now in the process my mind is failing me it's not used to happiness. Did you update your timeline I have to do that right now. t5063.gif

You got that right longest so far if not mistaken. Thank God it's over, what a blessing and how wonderful it must feel. :)

Actually this exact thing to me. It turns out it's just because all the applications go to the post office and there in a huge bin that just go to the NVC sorting center so you don't get a personalized signature. And the tracking on USPS is correct as far as when the signature says. So don't worry it is there. :)

Thanks! I feel much better knowing this. :)

ohhhh thank you so much Soloenta...we are on day 35-36 post checklist scan .In my husbands optimism he keeps telling me we will get CC by the weekend .My heart wants this but my head says its too early...even with prayers. I dont know whats wrong with me...nothing ever shakes my faith but NVC has managed to do just that.I know God is fully able to make it happen but sometimes it just seems like his timing isn't mine and that feels bad. There are so many in my family in the states that need me there and I need to be there. You know the circumstances...uggghhhh this is so crazy having to wait so long to bring my husband from the Netherlands to the states with me.

Thank you my dear for your warmest prayers! I am really praying for everyone (including myself) - I sent the AOS once again and paid another $120 to expedite it so it gets there by Tuesday at the latest (yes you pay 120 dollars and can only get it 3-4 day delivery! :ranting: ) I'm really hoping they won't need that extra peice of paper and can just grab my papers and say 'oh there's the mistake the NVC rep did...I'll just approve you' -- But it seems I'm probably not getting a call today.

I'm using a landland phone for communication so I am literally stuck at home waiting for this supervisor to call and hate the vagueness of it all...but it's what test I have to over come and I guess I'm willing to do it - God only knows the right time that something should be given to me - I just pray he offers it to me soon because I feel I'm at my wits end (as I'm sure all of you going through the same if not worse situations are!).

I'm so happy for all of you who got their CC's - I knew some of us would be in the checklist situation with such a big group. Does feel sad that I am going through it but I know I will get out of it and that's the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am praying hard today brings much more good new for everyone more CC's, maybe a miracle interview date etc you just never know.

No matter your faith please take a moment today to say a prayer for all those struggling in this nightmare of a process and special prayers for

Samreen, EOC, SharksBelow, AmeriDutch, BRosa, Maria&Abdo, Natasha&Noor, Maharosa, mofatsd, sorry if I forgot someone but please also say prayer for the peaceful good people of the Middle East suffering because of the few power hungry SOB's and the worst countries for AP Egypt and Nigeria. Thank you in advance.

Congrats everyone who received a CC! I'm still waiting along with so many others. The last email I received from NVC was on October 27th saying they received my AOS/IV docs so I hope to hear something soon.

I just have to say, I love how supportive and encouraging everyone on the VJ forum is for one another. It's nice to know there are still a few caring, kind, and compassionate people in this world. It truly warms my heart.

Some days I feel like I am not as good of a person as I have always thought of myself to be. I am so happy for all those progressing and getting their CC, as you have sure suffered through this horrid process long enough. As I am also happy for those that have had their expedites approved, but each time I see another person get their expedite approved in less than a weeks time, regardless of which consulate, there is a slight feeling of bitterness that overcomes me. This whole process is bringing out a side of me that I have never seen before and I really wish to never see again. God bless my husband for his patience and kind gestures. I have to be honest, I don't know how he tolerates me in the current state I am in. There are times where I feel so emotionally out of control, if I had the option to get away from myself, I'd run far far away.

I don't think I can say thank you enough to all of you for your continued support and encouragement. Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, may the peace mercy and blessings of Allah be with you all.

You can't help but feel that way, especially since you know for a fact that your case is taking longer than average just because your husband is Egyptian. It's not fair. Some people abuse the system and ruin it for everyone, and unfortunately, Egypt is near the top--if not AT the top--of that list. We know your pain.
