Packet 3 is for non-immigrant K1 visa;

Packet 4 is for immigrant visa IR1/CR1;

You simply print the interview letter when NVC sends you one and take that to embassy that is your packet 4. It's different for each country if embassy contacts you. Interview letter states what documents you need to bring to the interview.

Had our second interview in Accra, Ghana.

Approved fully and we pick up the visa on Monday!!

Hubby's interview is done and were APPROVED!!!! I'm just waiting to see CEAC change from ready to approved. He said the interview only took 5 mins. Will post a review later after he answered ALL of my very detailed questions. This feels amazing.

No. It's an online site here http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-elispaid after you pick up the Visa.

And really unless you really like waiting don;t wait for the email for interview. As you can see its been a few days for some people and they still have not got their letters its usually 1 to 2 days. And I can assure you Mexico has not started yet.

Finally got my Interview date at New Delhi consulate: 6th Jan . So relieved!

Yes, interview letter will state which documents you should take. But below is the list of general documents required for the day of interview and are listed on consulates website:

1. Interview Letter;
2. Original unexpired passport;
3. 2 passport size pictures - size 2 inch by 2 inch ( number of pictures varies for each consulate);
4. Printed DS 260 confirmation page;
5. Sealed Medical envelope;
6. Copies of Civil documents package (If originals have been sent to NVC already, if not orginals are required for sure at the interview)
7. Copy of AOS package (good to have);
8. W2's from last 2 years of sponsor and joint sponsor (if any) (Always good to have);
9. Evidence of bonafide relationship - Wedding pictures, Casual environments pictures, money transfer receipts, any documents showing joint ownership or co-mingling of financial resources, phone call logs/records etc.

Glory be to GOD in the highest hallelujah!!!! Hubby had interview today and was...APPROVED after 18 months!! Thank you to all the VJers! Special thanks to Dwheels, saylin and others for all the help to get through this. For everyone else that is waiting, there is a light at the end of this long tunnel and your day is coming. Have faith and you will get there. GOD bless!!

Here is what happened: hubby got there around 6am , went through the line ended up being interviewed by one of the nicest officers, asked him how we met, what my profession was, if we had kids, how long had i been in the US, looked at some pictures; then he started to type something in the computer and so hubby asked what he should tell his wife, then the officer said, "tell her your visa was approved"! We were so nervous because we didn't do any front/back loading. We didn't get any checklist, it just took forever to get my tax transcripts. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!

You guys will get an interview for Month of January for sure. It's just that Mexico hasn't started yet. I am expected Tuesday is the day for Mexico. Hang in there.
