After 80 some tries and not a very long hold got my INTERVIEW schedule..... JANUARY 26th at 11am..... Omg I'm still in disbelieve :) I haven't even call my hubby.. He is going to freak out!! Yay!!! Awesome Valentines present <3 Rep told me it could be a couple weeks before getting the official letter from them, does that sound ok?

So happy for u.. your ahead of me. But congrats.. I didn't get to call yesterday but I cared this morning nd still nothing. I feel like crying!!

So happy for u.. your ahead of me. But congrats.. I didn't get to call yesterday but I cared this morning nd still nothing. I feel like crying!!

Thank you!!! hang in there you probably hear something by tomorrow, I call this morning cause it was impossible to get through last night and I wasn't expecting anything from them today either but it was good news :) I'm sure you will hear something by tomorrow.......... the worse is over which it was NVC now is just a little bit more of waiting.....

Interview scheduled by NVC on Dec 3.

Finally, we got an interview date 01.14.2015. cc nov 15. thanks to dwheels and all the vjs inputs. it really helps. good luck to everyone still waiting on their interviewdate!

It looks like CD Juarez, Mexico is scheduling. I will call today and find out if I have interview date.

How did you get that info?

It was torture calling last night to find out, nada.

Hi,

Does anyone know to whom we request for preponing/rescheduling the interviews? I have been assigned a date of January 29th and I am thinking of taking my chances. I wrote to the consulate (Mumbai in India to be precise) and they responded me that they can not prepone the interview the case is still at NVC. They asked me to contact NVC and request them instead. I am confused, who assigns the dates? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the exact response from the consulate:

We are sorry to inform, but the post (U.S. Consulate Mumbai) cannot prepone your interview date, since the interviews are scheduled by the National Visa Center (NVC). Kindly contact the NVC and request them to reschedule your interview at an early date, since your case is still at the NVC. You may contact the NVC at: nvcinquiry@state.gov

Hey what was your cc date?

CC was October 24th. I see many with CCs on much later dates with interviews scheduled in the first half of January at Mumbai consulate. I dont understand how the dates are assigned :(.
