I stopped watching after the night of the grand jury decision. It's not even journalism these days. Maybe I can watch the BBC to get my news now.

I naively thought that after the evidence laid out professionally by the prosecutor that would be the end of it. It's simple as can be.

Man tries to take cops gun and assaults him in the process

Cop kills man in self defense

How that can turn into days and days of discussion on the news, I have no idea. It should be a paragraph in the St. Louis newspaper at most.

It boggles my mind

They're experts in one thing (though they pretend to be experts in many), and that's talking out of both sides of their mouth. Just remember, if it bleeds, it leads... telling people that any part of it was handled correctly decreases ratings, and is only acceptable in a backhanded manner (such as, "well, if there's one positive thing to take away from this, it's...").
