Hi everybody I'm filling out my I-864 form and its asking me for my Alien Registration Number part 1 Question 5 and also again Part 4 question 11c are they both going to be the same number from the NOA 2 letter? I did become a US citizen Through my parents 15 years ago. My other question is I'm using a joint Sponsor and he was born in the US. What should he put in for the Alien number ? Thank you so much in advance

I think if you are a US citizen you do not need to write in Alien Registration Number. For example, in my case, I filed I864EZ since I am the only sponsor for my spouse and I only checked the box US Citizen and in Alien Registration Box I wrote "N/A".

Maybe someone can confirm if that is the case and you dont need to write Alien Registration Number.

11/18/2016: NOA1 Received

12/14/2016: Biometrics Appointment

10/17/17: Approval letter received in mail

As I know... A number is forever....

My wife is also naturalized USC and she also used A number in I130 petition.

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
