The lady takes her daughter on a cruise, the daughter decides she likes braids and wants them. The mother says ok. Then she started getting negative comments from people about her daughter's hair.

Now the conversation changes to is the mother worried about the girls education? Maybe we should call and ask her.

What does this have to do with the topic at hand?

Is she wrong for allowing her daughter to wear braids? Or are you saying she is not teaching her daughter to embrace her natural self because she lets her wear braids?

corn rows are cool. Heck back in my day they were considered country. If you had corn rows you were old fashioned.
