Hi,

We got our approval on third of Oct.2014, last Monday I called to check if they issued a case number for us !!? but they told me I should wait 24 day more !!

Any suggestion from you on how to talk with nvc to speed up the process will help me a lot.

Thank you all :reading:

before checking if NVC obtained a case number for your case, you have to ask if they recevied it from USCIS yet, if yes, the NVC is now stating 42 days after receiving to obtain a case number, if no, then its probably not shipped from USCIS yet or NVC still didnt recieve it, it can take from week to several weeks

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

I have read it many times and it was very helpful but I have some question : I am working in Saudi Arabia and my lovely wife (US citizen) lives with me, but she doesn't work or ever been in united state, we planning to have friend of us as joint sponsor.

By your opinion what document we should prepare before sending AOS package ?
do my wife need to deliver proof of domicile ? or just send the following :
1- form I-864 (joint sponsor).
2- IRS Tax Transcript.
3- Proof that (joint sponsor) are a U.S. citizen.
if you think there is missing document we should prepare please mention it for us.
thank you
