google translate from another language, I'm assuming. Can't figure out what he's really asking. No NOA1 after 2 months, and needs to go to the local office with evidence on ongoing relationship, which shouldn't be needed until the interview. None of this adds up.

I've no idea what is going on. Unless right from the start, during the petition stage, they're suspecting something is wrong and the relationship isn't real. Never heard of someone's process taking this particular turn out of what the normal path is.

Have you been petitioned before, or applied for a visa in the past?

Also what did "pick with her the notary" mean? Was she supposed to bring the person who notarized documents she signed?

I'm thinking this isn't good news at all. My guess would be they suspect fraud in the relationship. And that includes thinking documents have been notarized by the notary confirming someone signed them, who in fact was not present to sign the documents. Unless the notary was also the person who assisted in filling out the forms. Is English the first language of your fiance? Did the notary assist in filling out the paperwork?

I certainly hope I'm reading this wrong, but calling in a petitioner for an I-129F application just doesn't happen. RFE's go out asking for more evidence when something is missing. But asking someone to personally appear at this stage, I've just never heard of it.

Good luck.
