How do you send stuff to china?

I need to send my NOA2 packet to china, do you just write the english address on there and on the customs form? I cannot write chinese. I had sent letters by printing a label in chinese, but I cannot do that with a package because I also need to fill out the customs form at the post office.

You don't need to know Chinese to write Chinese You can just copy the symbols carefully! It will be like drawing.

My fiance doesn't know Turkish, but he sends me lots of things with my Turkish address on.

Why do you need to send your NOA2 to China? it will not do your fiancee any good. Wait until you send all other documents that she will need to take to the Interview, unless you sent them already. If that is the only thing she needs you can scan it and email it to her, she does not need to have the original.

whoa there - she not need NOA-2 in China -

but she will need the I-134 with your original signature on it.

you could email many things to her,

with the exception of :

1. I-134 and

2. your signed letter of intent

all other tax documents , proof of current annual income, can be scanned and emailed, printed out in any copy shop 3 blocks from her house.

now - to your question - how to send the package.

I suggest EMS , all things written in English , with

those TAPED labels in Chinese attached to the outside. China Post will see em and use em, once the package arrives out of customs.

Hi buddies,

I don't mean the NOA I just meant the the documents I am sending her to take to the embassy because we got the NOA2 already.

Darnell I don't want to send her the electronic documents to print out in china because I have a deep distrust of all things in china, I am sure the print shop will copy all my information and I do not want my complete tax records, passport, birth certificate, etc in the hands of anyone else. And since I have to send a few papers, I will just send the whole packet over in a thick envelope.

Ok I will do what you said I will print out the label and put it on the package and just write the stuff on the customs form in english.

Oh wait I just thought of something. I am planning to meet her in Guangzhou when she goes to the interview so can I just bring the documents with me? Is there any document she will need before then that I must send in the mail?

When I sent things to my wife, I only wrote in English on the customs form itself. I typed out and printed her address in Chinese and affixed that to another part of the package, worked every time.

I know you'll be taking your stuff in person, but in future if you need to send something,..

I used FedEx and I wrote English version of her Chinese address and it got there just fine in 3 working days I believe.
