THE REST OF THE STORY!

After her interview we were expecting to see the CEAC website update at least within a day or two. But day after day went by and no updates. I started getting nervous, wondering if maybe she had said something that they thought about later, that had possibly contradicted something else she had said or something in the information we had already sent. I know in Pakistan so many people get put into endless AP - that can go on for months or even years. And I wondered if they would ever tell someone they were approved and then change their minds the next day.

Finally, a week later on November 5th, the date on the CEAC site changed to November 5th. But the status still said Ready. I stayed nervous. Almost a whole other week went by and then yesterday it updated and said Administrative Processing! We kind of celebrated with nervous expectancy that it was the normal one or two days of AP before issuing the visa. But I was still haunted by her rough interview and wondered if it might not be the kind of AP that goes on for three more years.

Then today, I woke up to a screenshot from my fiancee of the CEAC page and it said "November 14th", "ISSUED"!!!! So it looks like it's really going to come through! But I can't tell you what an unsettling last two and a half weeks I had seeing no updates at all day after day! In my mind I went from "she's never coming" to "SHE'S COMING NEXT WEEK!!!" It felt kind of like what I would imagine it might feel like if someone you loved died, and then two weeks later they came back to life! It was just an awesome feeling!

I understand your fiancee' has her visa now all approved with the right stamp? I am hoping that is the case and you have a date when she will be in America and you can start a life with her. What a dream come true! You have been thru the ringer that is for sure! All the sweeter when you wake up every morning knowing she is yours to hold from now on!! Thank GOD!!!

Our interview is Thurs! I am also 29 years older than my fiance' , we are both Muslims, having the interview in Algiers. I think it is safe to say, a man marry a younger woman is more tolerated that a younger man and older woman. Yet our story goes back for 7 years. I stay with him and is family in his family home when I am here and I have been coming to visit him since 2008. I was here twice in 2008, then 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. I am actually here now and have been here since Ramadan. We are praying that I will be able to go inside the Embassy and participate in the interview. If ever this was a true love story, this is it!!

We have read your comprehensive story many times. We have practiced answering as your sweet fiancee' did and we have been even more diligent because of your courage and preparation! Thank you and may God bless you for your efforts to help us all that still have to go thru the interview process!!

You are an inspiration!!

Love Hamzahra!!

MY CONGRATULATION TO BOTH OF YOU WITH THIS SMALL POEM

Our love was good our love was strong,
but for some reason you thought it was wrong.

interview broke my heart you set me free,
but there is something that you just don't see,

these things are feelings & these feelings hurt,
they hurt because you were not there .

You will always be the one for me,
Which inside my heart, you will always be.

O YES IMMIGERATION STUFF IS VERY COMPLICATED, THEY CAN DENY OR LONG UNDER ADMISTRATIVE PROCESS OR CANCEL AFTER ISSUING, SPECIALLY IN K1 CASE, AS I LOVE AND WANT TO MERRY , AND THERE IS SO MUCH ADMISTRTIVE VISA STUFF.

I FELT VERY NERVOUS AND ASKED TO MYSELF WHAT IF THEY DON,T ISSUE.

LOVE IS CRAZY THINGH, IT IS A MISTRY, BEYOND RACE, RELIGION,OR CULTURE, IT HAS A BIG HYPNOTIC POWER, WHEN YOU LOVE A PERSON TRULLY, NATURE GUIDES YOU.

Everyday I get more afraid
Of giving my heart away
Scared of what love will bring
Too nervous to hear the words you’ll say

I find myself lost in you
Not sure if I want to be
I see the looks that you give
And wonder what you see in me

I don’t want my heart broken
But I am so in love

I can’t seem to give up
A guy sent from above

So I’m gonna trust you
Please don’t let me down
For I am giving you a chance
To turn my life around

Don’t take it for granted
‘Cause it might not last long
I have weak thoughts
And my heart isn’t too strong

I’m putting my life in your hands
Now it’s all up to you
I look forward to the places we go
And the things we’ll be put through

But remember that I’m vulnerable

And I can’t stand to be hurt
I want to be at the top of your list
But I don’t have to be first

Believe me when I tell you
That I love you with all my heart
That I’m here for you forever and always
Just like I was at the START...
