Wait I don't understand. So there are no interviews for people with case complete from October in December for Australia???? :wow: ..

i mean if you look at the spreadsheet, i don't see anyone being scheduled for australia. I agree its a small sample set, but this is so weird. Also, I don't see major scheduling issues in previous month for australia. You can check the spreadsheet yourself. I think Suki in NY said they only schedule Immigrant visa interview once a week. Maybe i read it wrong. Thats why its taking so much time. :clock: I am really sorry to hear that msc13. I sincerely hope you can get an earlier datethough don't give up hope. Worst case scenario-- you get an interview date for january, you can call up and get an earlier date  also, one has to saywe are OUT OF NVC.:devil::devil::devil: i know its painful for you and the kids..but at least you don't have to deal with the operators at the NVC asking about case completes!!!! LOL :goofy::goofy::goofy::goofy::goofy:

Hi there

I know, it is crazy isn't it. There is one interview for a Cc on Oct 31st. Perhaps they haven't got to Australia yet and will do it tomorrow or Monday. It does seem weird that all other months were fine but not this one. Mmmm, don't know what to think.

Ditto. Definitely, don't despair yet. And you have more than enough justification to ask for an earlier interview...

Well. Yes I could do that but it would be good to just have a date first. Fingers crossed I might get an email in the next day plus my other Aussie friends.

hi, is your cc email like this? or does it really say case complete?

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

This is what mine says as well but this is the CC letter. Now we just need that interview letter!

Well I can definitely relate - this process and the minute to minute step by step waiting has caused me to shed tears on more occasions than I can count!

The good news?!

My interview was on Monday, approved, visa issued Tuesday, email from Loomis late Wednesday, tracked package and it was delivered at my Loomis location early today (Thursday), I had it in hand at 10am, and will do POE and fly to Alaska on Saturday!!!!

Good luck tomorrow!

Wow you got your visa back with your passport already? That is awesome, congratulations I am SUPER HAPPY for you, what a relief that package must have been!!! Thanks for the well wishes, I appreciate it!!!

Good luck with your interview tomorrow. Btw, how many passport photos did you need for Medisys? I fly out on Tuesday to do my medical there.

I'll put all the details up on my consulate review tomorrow afternoon, but here are the cliff's notes: on the phone they said 4 passport photos and $250, we actually had $250 in cash set aside in an envelope for this since I wasn't sure they would take credit cards. When we got there, they needed 5 passport photos (THANK GOODNESS I had my extras with me!!!) and the price was over $290 ($252 plus 15% Quebec HST... wonder if I can claim that expense on my Canadian tax refund as a medical expense?). Thankfully they took credit cards so we just charged it.

He got called first for bloodwork, heart rate, eye exam, vitals,... then back to the waiting room. :clock: Then he got called for chest x-ray... then back to the waiting room. :clock: After over an hour he got called for the naked check... no gown or anything, and ewwwwwwwww the doctor didn't even wear gloves!!!! :bonk: and barely rinsed his hand off after!!!! :bonk: They were pretty rude and rough, he didn't know what to expect each time he went in and they acted like he was supposed to know what to do next. After we got back to our hotel we realized they spelled his name wrong on the receipt so we had to go back afterwards on Monday to get them to fix it.

The results came as promised though and were ready today by noon so that was a good thing.

Good luck on your medical and interview!!!

I really have no idea if DR started or they are already done. Have you called NVC and asked them have they completed for December?

Yes they said they are waiting on the schedule for December. So I don't know If that means it will be early December or mid.

Got CC email.

So from reading the thread this morning looks like no more interviews in December. The children are beyond disappointment. Me too. Do we think this is for definite for all embassies.

When will they start scheduling January?

End of the month through 1st week of December will start January.

If you got January remember you can always request an earlier date. Some embassies like UK and I believe yours are very accommodating. All hope isn't lost yet.

But I would say that December is closed. This is a very busy season and most embassies are done within the first 2 to 3 days.

What does Ready mean on visa status ? Ready to be sent to consulate??

Ready means you are ready for Interview. Your petition could still be at NVC or at embassy. Thats why some here track their petition to see it say "In -Transit".

Did they ask you to submit any more documents OR they just said they want more time to review....what all did they ask you in the interview?

The CO asked for all the evidence and i gave her. She said it will be reviewed and then she gave me the dreaded contact form. Have posted a review on the details of the interview and the questions asked.

Ok, I just panicked a little. Last month I had to replace my laptop and lost all my scanned documents of IV and AOS packet, IV I can replace most with copies and originals that I already have. BUT. I do not have copies of the entire AOS package :(

  • How important is it for me to have this at the interview? Do I need to have my co-sponsor fill out alll the forms again and send them to me to bring to the interview?
  • Do I need original tax returns/transcripts for the interview? (Im not sure which one) or are scanned copies ok? (I sent scanned ones to NVC)
  • My husband has not worked since 2011 and therfor has no tax forms. I provided a letter stating this at the NVC stage but reading reviews I'm worried they're going to ask for proof and I don't have any? My husband will be present at the interview.

Thank you in advance!
