Hello Guys,

Anybody here with an idea of how to retrieve confirmation numbers? I applied through an agent who requested money after I had won in order to give me the notice letter with my case number AF10xxx for the processing of the form 260.

However, I didn't know I needed the same confirmation number to get the interview letter and now he wants another ridiculous money because he knows I'm interested in processing further.

Knowing my case number can I retrieve the confirmation number? PLEAE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fill your timeline and info to know your case and process, try calling the NVC and provide them your case number, your name and date of birth. try logging in this website and enter your case number

https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

I don't get your point please......"Fill your timeline and info to know your case and process".

I have already filled the form 260 on the ceac.state.gov website but my concern is how to get the invitation letter hope in November with being robbed.

He is DV winner - timeline is irrelevant - does not apply. Neither NVC has anything to do with his process.

You can retrieve your confirmation number from the website but I believe you need the original email that the entry was made with to do so, which I presume is the agent's. Stories like this are *precisely* why the official websites are full of warning against allowing agents to enter for you.... You can try calling KCC but I suspect they will not be able to help and that you will either end up having to pay the agent or letting the entry go and trying again next year...if the latter please do it yourself this time....

The other thing you can and must do is report the agent to the U.S. consulate in your country.
