the request can be processed anywhere but

if it's at a local office, they USUALLY put it at a local office because they want to interview the petitioner prior to approval. it's very rare that this happens, usually is some other problem not related to the expedite request.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I actually had this happen with an I-130. I requested an expedite on January 23 and on January 23 my case was sent to a local field office where it sat and was misdirected for about 4 months on top of 3.5 it had already been. The local field office got another expedite request from me, sent the file to VSC, who sent it back to the field office.... well, you get the general drift.

It is not good news it is at the local field office.

thxs n-o-l-a

we request expedite on the 8th september

but its not the uscis who sent our petition to local office

its the congressman who sent our proof to local office

so my fiancee make appointement to go to local office in baltimore on the 28th october

so our expedite request didnt show up on the email answer to the congressman from uscis

i feel like they didnt take our request for serious
