My husband took awesome pictures 2x2 passport style, we gonna use it to send to AOS package, is all printed in glossy paper, perfect measures.

My question is, can I CUT THEM MYSELF WITH A PAIR OF SCISSORS? or would it be too risky?

what do you guys think?

You could use scissors, but you need to have a really steady hand, I'm not sure if you would be able to cut them straight. I wouldn't risk it and use a paper cutter instead. You can try a pharmacy, like Walgreens or CVS, they should have paper cutters there or picture cutters, also Staples.

I do my own passport photos, but I bought a paper cutter on Amazon.

Exactly that was my doubt, cause i did cut some, but they are not perfectly trimmed, is so hard to do on my own

If i bring to CVS in a pen drive do you know if they would print and cut for me and if would be cheap?

you think USCIS would send me a RFE just cause the pictures are not perfectly trimmed?

If it's to print them, yes, it should be very cheap. I don't think they would charge extra for cutting them if you do it yourself. I know most pharmacies charge $10 if they take the pictures and print and cut it for you.

As to an RFE, I have no idea, I would think not, but that's only speculation.

If you took the pics yourselves, just take it to any chain pharmacy or Staples and see.

Uhm... lol... no I don't think you can get a RFE for having slightly crooked pictures. Wow. Visajourney makes people so paranoid. I printed my husband's pictures on a glossy photo page and then I just cut them out by hand. They definitely were NOT perfectly straight. This was for his original K1 application and we are WAY past that stage. I would just be careful that you meet all the requirements for the photos.

We met when Heather travelled to Egypt to be an au pair!

I took my own pictures too. I took them with my cell phone, cropped them with GIMP, and printed them at FedEx office. I used the papercutter that they have at Fedex Offcice to cut them. I cut them slightly smaller than 2x2 and I never heard anything from USCIS about them. I assume, mind you this is just an assumption, that they attach these photos to your physical file and the photo that they take at the biometrics appointment is your digital photo that they keep in their system.

Interesting, it's good to know that you can print pictures in FedEx and that they have paper cutters, there's one a few blocks from me.

Yes, you can. I edited the photo at home and placed 6 2x2 images on a 4x6 canvas. I took my flash drive to FedEx Office and printed it there for 35 cents. You can also print it at Walmart's photo center.

I actually have the glossy paper and printed on my own and it looks pretty legit to be honest better than photos i have done for my visa before, I was only concerned about cutting it, but then i went to cvs, and like, the guy cut it with the machine for free, but not exactly in the correct border, so i actually did a better job with scissors lol cause In the ones i cut is exactly in the border even if is not perfectly all the millimeters trimmed.

So what i gonna do is send the ones I cut and the ones he cut as well, stop to over think that lol
