I got my NOA2 the same day as you, did you need your NVC case number to submit the DS-160 form?

Hello everyone hang in there don't lose hope! Remember everything will be worth it in the end!

I have a couple of questions regarding after getting approved, I've been researching but I am still a little bit confused. After getting NOA2 what can we do to get ahead of the game? We already filled out a DS-160, we have gather all the required documents and proof of income. Do we just simply wait for the Embassy in El Salvador to contact us or NVC? What number are we suppose to get when it reaches NVC? Can my fiancé do the medical examination already? I read some where that after we get our new case number from NVC that we can schedule for interview ourselves?

Sorry if its too many questions, I just want to get a clear understanding and eliminate all possible errors and make this upcoming process go smoothly.

I had many ups and downs, more downs when I had too much free time. So I realized that I should keep myself busy, working full time helped me a lot and also coming here on the last week every day for talking [Maria&Steve! :)] really made my days better. More than human beings on the end of the day, we're human beings in love... so feel the drama.

Glad I could be a part of making your days feel a bit better! :D

I've been keeping an eye out on the people who get approved, how long they needed to wait between NOA1 & NOA2. Right not the waiting is between 190-200 but the latest one had waited 208 days so I am sensing it might increase. Personally today is day 172 for us.

Last night I booked a ticket to go see Seve in March. First we were thinking I would come over Valentine's Day but considering the possible increase in wait time March felt better. I don't want to go visit him so close to our last visit and then it will take forever to approved. In March I'm either just approved or it won't be long.

Wow! Have you guys checked out Igor's list? 7 (8 with imcoming) was approved yesterday. I haven't seen that many in a day get approved since November. Great and promising news, I hope they keep it up from now on.

Seems like without RFE current wait times is between 190-200 days, with RFE around 208 days. This info is only based on the last 15 (would have been 17 but I eliminated some from the Philippines) people to have gotten approved and should not be taken as any kind of facts, just speculation and possibly a glimmer of hope.

Hooray! How long will be your visit?!

Sounds about right 190-200 days. I think the waiting time might decrease until the end of this month or next, not now because still have lots of people from june and beginning of july to be approved, and they already reached 190-200 days.

8 approvals on igor's list sounds promising! Keep moving TSC! January will be good!

It will be for 17 days :) Going there to celebrate our 1 year as engaged :)

Yes, hopefully the waiting time will decrease. Fingers crossed!

Did you see that USCIS have changed the processing time from May 6 to June 6 on their website finally?

That's awesome! Celebrate 1 year engagement anniversary and noa2! because, of course, until there you guys will be approved.

I looked the timeline just now, and looks like they're finishing June and already working on July! that's something!

Yep! Isn't the ideal date that everyone was hoping for, but at least they updated it. So that means everyone who is June 6 behind can feel a inquiry?

now I'm anxious to my process get to NVC, oh boy.

It's good news that they finally updated the date but I think they make sure that all applicants earlier than June 6 are done just so that they don't get any inquiry.

But anyways....... Am still hoping for jan to hear my good news.

TSC replied the same to my congressman as well. I am left with nothing but to wait :(

One Eight Zero!!!! Yes. 180 days since we received NOA1. This number seemed scary whenever we thought about it and had hoped we never get to this point. But here we are. She cries most of the day and I, though the strong one since the beginning, have also started to feel weak.

Have tried to stay positive but like to know from others how are we dealing with this? I mean at the end of the day we are human beings and this process is testing us in ways we never imagined.

I am normally just frustrated but positive. I broke yesterday and cried a few time over this entire process. I feel helpless and my fiancé keeps telling me...everything will work out baby we have to be patient. Patient I have been but this has become a nightmare! I never thought I would be at 174 days and 6 months waiting is here!

I pray we all hear something soon. Stay strong my friend!
