Just wanted to post my checklist for my AOS, AP, EAD.

Just make sure ive not missed anything that I could need.

Ive read countless topics in here and followed the guides and I hope I have everything.

I've removed names and address just because! haha.

Thank you for any input, good or bad!

Please find enclosed the following forms, payment, and supporting documents for NUSC, Immediate Relative (Spouse) Family Based Adjustment of Status Application from K1 Visa, Including work authorization and advance parole. The table of contents is as follows:

- G-1145 Notification of application/petition acceptance

- Cover letter

- money order payment of $1070 made payable to “U.S. Department of Homeland Security”

- I-485 Application to Adjust Status for NUSC with the following supporting documents.
- copy of birth certificate
- copy of Passport biographical page

- copy of K1 Visa

- copy of electronic I-94
- copy of NOA2 from I-129F
- certified copy of marriage certificate

2. G-325A Biographic Information for NUSC

- G-325A attached question, employment information

4. I-864 Affidavit of Support filed by USC with:
- copy of his birth certificate
- Tax forms for 2011/2012

5 Evidence of mingling of finances and marriage
- copy of rent check for NUSC, USC (husband) and OTHER(lodger), for new townhouse (lease not arrived in mail)

- medical card showing NUSC (NUSC maiden name) as dependent

- Benefits plan for USC showing NUSC covered on health care

- Copy of Chase bank cards and Capital one credit cards for NUSC AND USC

- two (2) balance summary of Chase bank account for NUSC AND USC

- Capital one authorized user list for NUSC and USC.

6- I-765 Application for Employment Authorization for NUSC with:
- two (2) passport-style photos of NUSC
- copy of Passport biographical page

-copy of K1 visa

- copy of electronic I-94

7. I-131 Application for travel document (Advanced parole)

- two (2) passport style photos of NUSC

- Copy of passport biographical page

Looks good. Almost identical with my cover letter except I did not send a copy of my husband's birth certificate.

You don't need to include "evidence of mingling of finances and marriage" but no issue if you decide to do so.

Naive hope that if i include it, ill be the 50% that doesn't need an interview.

But that's just my wishful thinking talking... and my dreams!

It's up to you whether you want to include it. I'm now sure whether including evidence will have any bearing on whether you get an interview. I included no evidence, and I didn't get an interview. Most people don't include evidence since the forms don't specify it's needed.

However most people who are interviewed get their green cards much faster than those who have theirs waived. So even though it's a hassle having to attend an interview, at least you usually get the green card faster (depending on your local office). I wished that I'd had an interview, my green card took 8 months, and these days it can be even longer.

What's the difference between 2 and 4?

The USC's birth certificate is not needed. Only for a joint sponsor.

I agree with Lainie that proof of co-mingling not needed. We also had no interview. We were only married 2-3 days when we applied so had nothing. Take to an interview and save for removing conditions.

Do you know you can have instant tax return transcripts? Get online and print at home. http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

Good choice because they come from the IRS and do not require all those pages of the tax return or a W-2 to go with it.

Also you are actually doing 3 applications, not one big one. I organized mine this way.

You were clear! It just feels like one more thing to worry and stress about. And with his job, it'd just be easier not to have one. But If we do get one, then I know it'll go fine, and maybe quicker like you say.
