We're waiting for you to start your "Ebola" thread like you did with Michael Brown

I am shocked we have more controversy over a Virus than we did Michael Brown. I have not read most of it, I just don't see why it is causing so much vitriol

It's because it ties in with "immigration" a little.

No, it's because 0bama or O'bama or Obummer or whatever title the right wing nut sphere comes up with next for the President. The vitriol originates in the right wing nut sphere and makes it from there to CEHST via the usual suspects.

So says the man from the left wing nut sphere that said, Republicans were responsible for not keeping the patient the first time he went to the hospital.

Say, what left wing nut sphere source have I quoted around here? Let's hear it.

As for blaming the botched response in Dallas on Republicans, try for context of the post. I think I posted that in response to one of the RWNJs trying to blame the Ebola case in Dallas on Obama and the Democrats. I simply responded in kind trying to speak the language which the poster I responded to appeared to be speaking. But I know that context is not something you do.

I see when you meet right wing stupidity, head on with left wing stupidity it somehow is context., and makes your nut job response ( your words not mine) very pertinent while still making theirs a nut job response.

Gotcha..

What is really disturbing is you really think that

All I can say is Ebola is a terrible thing, and like anything that is new to us, sometimes there are a few fumbles in our initial reactions. You are no better or worse than the other side of the coin that is politicizing this thing

To go into mass panic at this point is wrong

To also treat this with anything less than grave concern is also wrong. This thing is highly contagious and remember a Virus can mutate rapidly. It's not airborne yet.

No, you haven't. Pointing out the absurdity of making this political is all that happened. Despite having it explained to you, you still don't get it but think you do. Not surprised.

Because what G is saying, the person who brought it back over here happens to have dark skin. Which means he doesn't have an education and speaks in Ebonics according to some members here.

Dear God. It know has a racial angle. Guess it was just a matter of time before you figured out how to make all this racist.

I am disappointed but not surprised.

What's Ebola?

Not in this case lib, you're the one that made the first racial/racist comment regarding ebola when you made the moronic statement regarding ebonics.

That is why you shut off travel with these countries. Limit the visa applications. This man knew he could be infected.. He helped put a woman with ebola in a taxi How many hundred or thousands of folks will do the same thing...I may be sick Fly to a country that will save me... We were assured that ebola was not in the usa. The person at the desk did not recognize the country. This was due to taking an ebonics class, common core, or something silly like that.. The decision was just a case of the flu .. send you home because of a bug. If you are to blame anything is the lack of geography being taught in todays classroom..... Countries of Africa .. Why study that.... Liberia .... is that not around russia?..

Check Teddy's post since he beat me to it. Are you still disappointed?

Oakland schools adopt 'Black English' policy

The school board for the Oakland school system Wednesday night voted unanimously to recognize Black English, or "Ebonics," as a second language, and the primary language of its African-American students.

It's expected that the school district will now seek state and federal funds for bilingual education.

Dr. Gwen DeBow is a teacher at Webster Academy School, a public Oakland elementary school. She is one of more than 100 Oakland teachers already developing and using a Black English curriculum.

The Oakland school district hasn't said exactly how it will implement a Black English-as-a-second-language program -- whether it will mean separate classes, new teachers and new books. For now, Oakland educators will only say, it's a start.

So if you throw in an ebonics class during the 5 hours of class time what class gets thrown out the window?

Maybe study about countries overseas?... You know union teachers will not spend one more minute in school than needed...

liberia ... Yep that is near russia correct.

So Ebonics is racial and you were the one who interjected it into the conversation. Thanks for clarifying.
