It's been 20 days since our biometrics, and no news yet...

Boo! That's not good

Nothing yet! Trying to be patient but it's hard! lol. I was peeking in the September filers and saw some timelines of people getting status updates 7-10 days after biometrics. It's been a week for me now so hopefully we'll hear something soon.

I had been hoping the same...

I've been checking the USCIS website everyday for any change and finally today got news. My I-485 screen changed to "Case is ready to be Schedule for an Interview", exactly two weeks after I did my biometrics (Nov 12th). Just waiting for the notice in the mail now. :clock:

Awesome! Still nothing for us- none of cases have been updated since the receipt date in early Oct- is that the same for everyone else waiting after biometrics?

Yes nothing for us either, it's day 62 today and no updates since our biometrics. We were hoping to travel for christmas vacation, but we switched our vacations today since the AP wont be ready in time.

I will file a service request on day 75 for the EAD/AP card, which is what their website says to do.

Hi everyone!

My biometrics was done Nov. 17, 2014 and I was able to do it in less than 10 min..my appointment was 2PM but we came in like 1:15 PM and we were done before 1:30 PM.. there were just 2 or 3 peeps before me so I guess after lunch schedule is not bad at all.

As of now, we haven't heard from USCIS after my biometrics, no changes in our case statuses either...holidays are coming so I guess it will be even more delayed but well, good luck to all of us!

Biometrics done Nov 18 in Indianapolis and still no case status update.

According to my NOAs, the Center handling my applications is the National Benefits Center in MO. Yet when I go onto the USCIS website and check out processing times for this Center, I-130 and I-485 applications are not listed there, though plenty of others such as the I-765 are. So I cant tell how long I should be expected to wait for the first two.

Anybody know why my 130 and 485 were sent to a Center that does not list processing times for these applications?

Thanks.

The National Benefits Center does not adjudicate those types of cases; that's why you don't find processing times on those forms. NBC only collect information about you and creates a file. They will forward your file to your local field office and the field office will make the final decision. If you want to check the processing time for your I-130/I1-485 you have to check your local field office's processing time.
