Ok... after waiting for 40 minutes, finally got through but he couldn't hear my voice!! :crying: So I had to call again and wait for another 40 minutes..

Anyways, I was told that the interview for my hus has not been scheduled at the embassy in Paris yet but should be scheduled anytime soon.. I really hope it is going to happen very soon.. :cry:

Our CC was 9/15 by the way.

Interview scheduled! November 21st. The Friday before Thanksgiving week isn't exactly the stuff dreams are made of, but I suppose I should be thankful we finally have an interview date.

I now see N/A on my AOS fee....in queue with NVC now. I hope I hope I hope this is a CC. 60 days is 10/10 I was hoping they might finish early.

Does anyone happen to know if you call or email the Nigerian consulate to request an earlier date? Highly impossible, but since we have waited since May 2013 it doesn't hurt to try.

Calling Lagos will net you nothing.

Next week hopefully maybe your case will arrive. You need to know when you petition leaves. Call like this time next week and then you track or try to. Once it has arrived then you email the embassy and request an earlier date.

You can give it a try. Same thing I asked the CO this morning. She said such request are rarely granted but she said I can send a mail with explanation requesting for expedite appointment. But you should wait for your case file to arrive in Lagos before sending the embassy the email.

It doesn't really matter when you get CC. Who knows maybe your date might have been scheduled. NVC is full of surprises.
