Offsite Facilitation Center (OFC) locations are used by the visa applicants to submit biometric information including their fingerprints and digital photograph. One OFC is located in each city where the Embassy or a Consulate is located.

Pakistani embassy doesn't do that right? Everything is done in-house on the day of the interview?

Yes, this is not for Pakistan, this information is regarding people in India only as far as I know only Indian residence have to do this.

So got back my medical results today in a sealed envelope and a vaccination record and CD in clear plastic bag. I am to hand over the envelope at interview and the vaccination record and chest X-ray CD to the immigration officer at POE. Because no further testing was required, I understand nothing came up in my medical, so am good to go. Regarding the vaccinations, I did provide the record from my physician and it was not good enough for the panel physician, so he has marked it as "A" for the required vaccinations meaning "insufficient time to complete series." He did check "complete" for vaccinations at the end. Now, got biometrics next week. Supposed to take medical results with me but another applicant says not required.

Other than the usual things I need to take to my medical, (pictures, passport and medical records from GP ) Is there anything I should bring along just incase?

Also, I have one more question. I have a lifelong issue with my ear, I'm partially deaf and as a child I had tumours. It's still an ongoing thing with a visit to the hospital monthly for a checkup and cleaning. Recently, I was told the tumour could be grown back again, they are benign, so to worry. They do need to be removed when found. Should I mention this to the doctor, do you think it will affect my medical results in any way ? Thanks

I just got my CC on Monday! Medical is on November 12th. My Doctor will be male and is the only one in Ireland that can do it.

I have to do what's necessary though haha

HOw would I know my interview date???

Either call NVC or wait f the interview letter. But they aren't scheduling right now so you probably don't have a date yet. They finished November scheduling 1st week in October.

The Interview Officer told me that there is nothing wrong with my case and it is all right .. he kept my passport .. but extra Administrative processing needs to be done he said .. no extra documents needed from me .. I need not to send anything or contact anyone. He said don't get bothered or sad .. this is normal .. and it is much faster now .. around one month .. It will take place in Washington D.C.

I went back home .. checked the embassy website for case update .. it doesn't work ..

I checked CEAC .. it said case updated 19th Oct .. ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING

yesterday case was updated 22nd OCt. .. also .. ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING

Q1) what does it mean when CEAC updates the date? good? bad? or neutral?

Q2) I am sure you have seen many cases like mine, any idea how long it usually takes?

It means they are working on it and updated. Every time your petition is touched there's an update its how they keep track.

There is no way to tell AP takes as long as it takes from days to weeks to months to years. No one knows because no one can say how many hits your name gets and how deeper they have to go to check it out.

i'm confused.. after getting the medical results (the envelop and the CD and vaccenation record paper) we have to mail them to the embassy???

the secretary told me you should have the envelop with you when u go to the interview!

are you applying for different type of visa? mine is CR1 btw.

If they handed them to you then you take them yourself. UK is a whole different manner the doctors send their results in.

I know it will be in Dec but will try to change the date to Nov. Hope it works:)

You can mention has no barring on your medical. It will be fine.

Reservist as in only will be working one weekend a month. I have no idea how to calculate. But if he now isn't full-time you run the risk of being asked for a co-sponsor.

It's up to you if you want to update them or not.

But being a reservist I doubt will meet the poverty guidelines.
