The town probably has some sort of permit required to burn anything outdoors too, so he probably couldn't burn the flag either, unless he did it inside.

And pissing on it outdoors would probably be lewd conduct huh?

the fine should be a proper hair cut :P

:blink: I donnot agree with the town fining him for the flag, even it broke the rules. I mean was it causing damages? Also I understand his right to free speech, but would could he not spend his money on something more productive then a lawsuit? Like helping people with little or no voice have one?...since he is such a powerful figure? 3996_m.jpg

An 80 foot pole requires approval from a local planning department - obviously - its irrelevant whether Trump is flying the flag or his own underpants at the end of it

So are you going to sit here and say it is okay to burn a bloody flag but not okay to fly a flag, irrespective of the size..

Um no... Where are you getting this "burning the flag" ####### from. The story clearly mentions that the objection is about the size of the pole.

Put it another way - why not see how far you get trying to build a 75 foot tower in your back yard? I'm sure your neighbours would love the shadow cast over their property  It's called an eyesore.

there should never be any objections to the size of the pole

What if it is to short to allow for flying the flag at full mast? Would you not be in favour of an extension?

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

well a short pole would be impractical, wouldn't it?

At 80 foot, I think the Donald is compensating for something...

Now that I have to agree with :)

I assume everyone here understands that network and cable news (and radio and newspapers) are commercial ventures and cater to their particular demographic. I don't understand how anyone could be surprised when Fox News says something goofy about Obama or CNN says something goofy about Bush. If they really cared about giving us the news it would be commercial free and with no opinions added. They're just selling hemmorhoid cream, folks.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
