Hello friends;

I had filed my AOS on 31st of Sept and since then waiting to receive NOA 1 and case number :( is it normal? I am in California. How much time does it normally take to receive NOA 1 and then EAD/AP?

Did you look if they cash the check??? How did you send it??

I've been reading people who sent it around those dates and they got NOA in 10 days I could give you a link to join with people who sent it similar dates

( So this is a link for September fillers, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/512864-september-2014-aos-filers/page-3 since you sent it August 31st you may be closer in dates with September fillers than August you can join it if you want to and there is a couple who sent it august 28 and got their NOA 1 September 9, but they sent it to Chicago so I guess it's all different, I just out the link in case you are curious to see other people around similar dates )

Yes it was sent by USPS and was delivered on 2nd of Sept.

Track using the case number texted to you. They should start with MSC

Yeah i can track it now :) one of them says on sept 15 finger print fee was charged and a letter has been sent so does this mean that they already sent me letter for finger prints ??? Other case number says that they were accepted on Sept. 2 but i got notification yesterday ...

No. The letter you're getting is your NOA1(Notice of Action) which is basically a hard copy or prove of filing for AOS and EAD/AP. After that letter then you'll get your biometrics appointment letter.
