Oh weird, I got my Alien Registration Number changed 4 days before you too. There is no rhyme or reason apparently.

Has anyone who got their NOA2 been accepted at NVC yet?

Hi, Same NOA2 date and no word yet from USCIS that it has been sent to NVC. I saw a post of someone that their file was sent to NVC on the 16th of October, we must have just missed that shipment. It's 2 weeks now and I was thinking of calling NVC but I'm thinking it's a waste of time.

The theme seems to be leave it two weeks then start ringing them. We plan on ringing from next Monday then it would have been 3weeks :)

We got our case number today :) my fiancé called NVC early today and was told our file will be sent to Manila very soon.

Hello guys!

Our hardcopy of NOA1 came last October 30 Thursday.. but when I tried to check our status online.. it says "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283"..

Another thing is our receipt no. starts with TSC and i was told if we sent it in TSC, it should start with SRC.. :( Please help us..

09/05/14: I-129F Sent via USPS Mail

09/18/14: Got a text that the Package was received at USCIS Lockbox

10/13/14: Packet received Date

10/22/14: NOA1 mail arrived but we got the one issued in VSC instead of TSC :( Had a different Receipt# that starts with TSC.

***Our docs got rerouted to TSC again..(According to their CSR) but we have no idea how it got sent to VSC.

11/03/14: I-129F approved at TSC

11/10/14: Notice Date

11/21/14: Received our NOA1 in the mail. (Updated one with the correct Receipt#)

04/21/15: NOA2 Notice Date

04/24/15: Got a computer generated text from USCIS (NOA2)

05/11/15: Received our NOA2 mail.

...................waiting for the NVC letter..

I honestly have no clue but I'm guessing maybe they're transferring your case or tsc might have changed their receipt code. If I were you I'd call and ask them what's going on.

Got our number today, was recieved 31st Oct. We decided to leave it 3 weeks until we called and paid off. She did tell us we were a week early calling though :P hehe

Sweet... So out of curiosity, should I call and to see if they have my case number? Will it speed things up or is it just to know?

I would call you got approved the same day I did, so you'd think it would be there too. :)

I believe you need the new case number for DS-160 form, sometimes medical booking depending on country and it means you can then track your package to the embassy. :)
