Hi all,

I am stuck on the "evidence of a bona fide marriage" part of the process - when does this aspect come into play? Is the evidence to be turned in with the I-130 (i.e. is this part of the first step in the process) or does the evidence only come in at the end during the interview? If I am to turn in evidence with the I-130 does this include photos and letters, etc. etc. and will I have to provide originals to them? Seems a bit weird to me to be mailing personal things across the world, but what is appropriate to send and what isn't?

Yup, you send the evidence of a bonda fide marriage with the I-130. In addition to the above, you can also send travel itineraries, Skype call records and chat logs. I probably sent more evidence than needed, but better to be provide extra than get an RFE.

You want your best and most convincing evidence submitted up front so USCIS can approve it. Anything submitted after USCIS approval well it may or maybe looked at or considered. So give them your best.
